I have stayed here three or four times and thoroughly recommend it. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the bus stop. Facilities and amenities are modern, clean and comfortable. The view from the balconies on the upper floors is stunning.

Excellent location, good price and comfortable facilities with amazing view

Haus Tuscolo is by far our preferred option to stay in Zermatt. In January 2018 it was our second time at Haus Tuscolo. After staying at couple of hotels (Beau Site, Alpenhof) and comparing them to our stay at Haus Tuscolo, we have realized that this is not only the best 'value for money' but also a special feeling of 'home away from home' which is created by the incredible personality - the owner of  the place. Theresia is a very warm and welcoming person of outstanding hospitality and positivity trying to make your stay more enjoyable. She also runs Hotel Parnass, which is 10 minutes away from Haus Tuscolo. The apartment, which we stayed at, was on the first floor with an amazing view over Matterhorn, and it had all the facilities you need. It is clean, spacious and quiet, and the location is fantastic. It is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop (free ski busses operate in Zermatt), a 5-minute walk from Sunnega, and about 10 minutes walking to the train station and the Gornergrat station. Within 10 minutes, walking along the river you'll be in the city center. So all the advantages of the place support our decision to stay again at Haus Tuscolo whenever we come to Zermatt again. Terrific people, excellent location, best 'value for money' in Zermat

We've been coming to Zermatt for a few years now and staying at Haus Tuscolo ensures a solid base for a memorable holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped (don't forget to bring some Nespresso capsules to make use of the machine :)) and we did not miss a thing while staying there. The proximity to the Sunnega lifts and the bus stop make the location of this apartment excellent - you can even leave your skis in one of the lockers at the Sunnega lifts and stroll the last few meters 'home'. 

The staff at the Parnass hotel who rent out the apartments are very sweet, helpful and accommodating. They will do what they can to make sure you can focus on enjoying your holidays in place that's easy to call 'home away from home'.

Excellent location & proximity to lifts!

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights whilst skiing Zermatt and Breuil-Cervinia. Very convenient and walkable to the shuttle stop to get to our ski starts. The facilities were clean and simple to accommodate the both of us.  We stayed in what basically a studio, but with enough room for us as we needed.  We opted to make our own meals most nights, and all the kitchen basics were there to do this (Switzerland is expensive in general, and Zermatt arguably more so).  The are laundry facilities as well, though it was a comedy of errors to figure out how to work it!  However, there was a building manager that lived on site, who was very helpful!  Great stay overall... Our home away from home.

Our home away from home (for 5 day ski)

Haus Tuscolo truly is a home away from home. From the minute we arrived at the Zermatt train station untill our departure a week later, the people from Hotel Parnass (Haus Tuscolo is managed by the hotel) have ensured our skiing holiday to be one of the best we had. 

The appartment on the ground floor has all the facilities you need (including a Nespresso machine). It is clean, spacious and quiet, and the location is fantastic. It's a 2 minute walk from the bus stop (free ski busses operate in Zermatt), a 3 minute walk from Sunnega, and about 10 minutes walking to the train station and the Gornergrat station. Within 10 minutes walking along the river you'll be in the city centre. 

Though the appartment, facilities and location were great, it was the staff of Hotel Parnass that made the difference. We were helped by Theresia and she is a very warm and welcoming person, thinking in ways to make your stay more enjoyable. 

We had such an enjoyable stay that we decided to book with them again!
