It is in a very good location, next to the University campus. Next to the hotel there is a tram station with trams that will take you everywhere in Zurich within a few minutes, including to the airport and the central train station. Rooms are clean and nice. The kitchen is functional and the owner is extremely nice.

A great inexpensive place to stay in Zurich

Accademia offers rooms and appartments - the appartments having a small kitchen, fridge and coffe machine. The place is not fancy, but very functional and has everything you need at a very good price. 

The tram stop in all directions is directly in front of the door - 10 mins to the central station or 20+ mins to the airport. City centre is at a 20 min walking distance.

Great value for money

As my mom was visiting over the holidays, I came across Accademia and I am glad I did!!
Amazing place, very clean, well equipped, lovely area, very friendly owner and staff. Perfect for spending time in Zürich. It is very well accessible as it is 1 stop (or 3 minute walk) away from Milchbuck (the stop which you could practically go anywhere in Zürich from) you can take the number 10 from the train station or Airport directly to Uni Irchel, right in front of the Apartments. There's a beautiful walk with nice views right across the street from where the entrance is.
It is a very quiet area, Supermarkets are within walking distance or a couple of stops with the tram.

This place is perfect for any traveler who likes clean and simple with great location.  I've stayed here multiple times and cannot believe the Accademia remains such a great deal!  Located right on Trams 9 & 10 (both which go direct to the city centre and the 10 goes straight to the airport) and next to the main campus of the University of Zurich, each room has a kitchenette, hardwood floors, noise-buffering windows, and free wi-fi.  This is a relatively small hotel so book in advance.

Repeat customer for a reason.

Very noisy, ugly location right on a busy traffic intersection in a nondescript neighbourhood. Closing the window blocked out some but all noise,and I imagine it would be unbearable in summer with the window open (no AC spotted in the room). No reception or any staff on site, ever. There's a phone number to call (I did not use it). The room was not cleaned or towels changed at all in five days.  Small rooms. The only positive was that it was very clean when I arrived. Yes it's cheap (for Zurich) but you get what you pay for  -- not a lot.
