It's has a taste of South East Asia, the evening looks better than the day.  You can take 1988 bus at across street to the Kenting Main Street.  I like the arts in the room and outdoor.  Get the car service and Taiwan beer at the bar.  Walk slowly through the garden.  

South East Asia Scene 

So let's start with the good: big room, high ceilings, great pillows and beds. 42" TV, mini fridge, porch (but, you'll have a view of the bar). Big bathroom. Staff was very helpful. We had to borrow an adaptor for our phones, which they had. We also got some plates and cutlery for the food we got along the way here. Note, their English isn't great, so google translate is your friend. 

The bad: We were in room 2, which is close to where the main road is, so you get a lovely arrangement of all sorts of vehicles going by. If that isn't enough, there's a speaker right outside the thin door so you get to hear music for most of the night and morning (it woke me up actually). The wind whips through the area so you hear that too. It moved the door for a while. The water pipes make that lovely sound like they're going to burst when the room next door uses their facets. Two beds for four people with a blanket That is meant for one person for each bed. There was four of us, two adults and two children and it wasn't big enough for us. 

The ugly: a cockroach the length of my baby finger running across the entrance to the bathroom! I had to put an end to it. Not something that you want to see right before going to bed. 

Other stuff: We rented a car, so it wasn't a long drive to the night market (10 mins). There's parking here right off the main road, so you have to be very cautious when backing out.

I booked another hotel on hotels.com which is the same owner as this one was full. I was a little pissed at the time since I was outside all day and just wanted to relax. They offered me this room immediately and it's beautiful. Balinese style hotel with outdoor pool and bar. I love this place. Next time I will definitely book this place. Oh but it's a little bit far from Kending street. About 7 minutes drive on scooter.

The owner and his family are extremely hospitable, do reach out to them to get suggestions on where to go and what to do in Kenting. They cooked a heart-warming meal for us and it was extremely delicious. 

The ambiance of the garden and rooms are extremely relaxing and brings you closer to nature. The rooms are clean and tidy. The garden has huts and a bar top counter where you can sit down to have a chat with the owner and fellow guests. Feel free to sit outside in the garden to drink tea and chat with the owner and his family. 

Also reach out to them on suggestions on where to go and what to do. They will recommend and arrange accordingly. Overall, an extremely good stay with heart-warming personal service levels from the heart. Definitely recommended!
