We spent four nights at this adorable B&B. The welcome was warm, the room was comfortable, and all the amenities - fridge, water, TV, toiletries - were present. The breakfast was - all four mornings - exceptional: the breakfasts here were the best set breakfasts of our whole month+ in Taiwan. We found the location to be ideal (we were here mostly for Taroko) for the bus and train station, though the Night Market and the town centre were a bit of a hike away. In the neighbourhood, though, were several places to eat, and a laundry. We loved this B&B, and totally recommend it. 

Sweet and friendly B&B

We didn't stay at this hotel but we had to contact them because the staff in our B&B didn't speak english. So they helped us to book a tour in Taroko park, the driver was perfect! Sam from the reception took few calls from the driver during the day to translate some information in english for us. It was so kind from him! We totally recommend this hotel!!!

Excellent service!!

Charming and characterful B&B. We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was well decorated with a good-sized shower and comfy bed. We especially liked the UV lighting on the ceiling, a quirky detail! The location is about an 8 minute walk from the train station, which was perfect for us, but it is about a 15-20 minute walk into the city centre. The staff speak pretty good English, so we had no trouble communicating. We had to leave early our first morning for a tour, and the owner was happy to cook us breakfast at an earlier time which we appreciated.

Cute and friendly B&B

Absolutely loved this place - everything from the cute decor to delicious breakfast and amazing service. 

We travelled with our baby and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They even prepared extra soft mashable fruits for her for breakfast, held her while we ate and generally made a fuss over her. 

There are three parking spots right out the front. They told us that no other guests had a car so there wouldn’t be any problems getting a spot, and there never were. 

It was a little hard to spot when we arrived at night. It’s on a corner, next to another BnB with a purple royal theme, so if you keep an eye out for both of them, you should see it. When they saw us parking and unpacking the car, they came outside to greet us. 

It’s a small thing but we also loved having bottles of water in the room and a hot/cold water dispenser in the lobby - saved us buying water. Also complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby you could help yourself to anytime. 

It was a short walk up to the Main Street where there were lots of convenience stores and restaurants. It’s not as close as some other hotels, but we preferred not to be right on the Main Street anyway. It’s definitely not too far to walk - a few minutes only. 

We would absolutely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone making a trip to Hualien or Taroko National Park. 



Best BnB Ever - highly recommended!

We loved this place! It is very cosy, the staff is very helpful, and nice. We stayed for 2 nights, we are a family of 4, with 2 kids (7 and 10). The breakfast is very good, and you can have some tea or coffee in the evening. There is a common room, where we played cards. It is within walking distance to the Rail station, and a few blocks from a convenience store. They speak English, it is a very clean and neat hotel, with Wifi all over the place. We wished we could've stayed longer.

Great B&B, specially with families.

My family and I were totally blown away with the deco of this B&B. Everything is so pretty and nice. We took a total of 5 rooms in this premise and all the rooms come with different layout and design!

Room is comfortable and we had a very good rest. The host is also very friendly and warm. 

Do look out for the breakfast that they served in the morning. Fantastic!!!

I’ll definitely be back to holland windmill should I visit Hualien again!
