A very cozy house with lovely rooms and amazing living room, where separating the whole floor into two spaces with comfortable couch and big dinning table.
The staff were extremely nice to us, even providing helpful information for our little adventure. Thanks to Tasha, Nancy and John, we had great trip in Hualien and will def. Come bac.

If you wanna know some secret spots around, they will be more than passionate to give you some suggestions. Since only locals know better than any other travel advise!

Cozy place and nice staff

Stayed in hualien for 2 nights in the bunk bed which was spacious and comfortable.
Sunny was friendly and kind to give us advise about tarako and places to eat in hualien 
The hostel doesn’t have a lift so you ll have to carry your luggage up the stairs but the staff will kindly help you with that

Overall a nice and cheap stay. Good base point if you re thinking of visiting Tarako

Cosy stay

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the staff. Kelly is incredibly helpful and generous with her time and advice! Will definitely come back!

Hualien Trip

Perfect stay for exploring the region. The staff (Nick was our host) was very helpful and kind! Our double room was spacious and we even had a balcony. The whole place had a nice backpack vibe going on, but also for not so young people (like us;) it's absolutely recommend. Would definitely book again!

Big room, clean, nice people

Context - I've not been on a solo trip for many years and decided to do one in Taiwan. I'm not a great planner and only knew Hualien was so beautiful when I attended a Taroko Gorge tour. 

Amazing people - I extended my stay at Hualien for 2 more days and this was only made possible with alot of help by Nick. He helped me to search for last minute tour trips and even find places to change money (they only have banks & are closed on Sundays). Would not have enjoyed Hualien this much, without his kindness and resourcefulness! 

Very clean and comfortable - Toilets, sheets, room are all very clean with no smells. One of the best maintained hostels I've been to (have been to many countries'). Aircon and water heater are great, rooms have large windows and very quiet at night.

Overall - Very homely and feels like I'm staying in a friend's house. I consider this experience part of Hualien's highlights. You can feel the authenticity of Taiwanese people. Very impressed and all the help I've received from Nick and Kaylie have greatly warmed my heart. You won't regret staying here! :)

Amazing Experience in Hualien!

Kelly and Nick were so active to introduce Hualien to us, including the local foods and travelling spots. Every time when we went back, they also greet us with a smile☺️ It’s a nice memory tho and will definitely come back if it’s possible.

Nice visit

A beauty girl has been very enthusiastic to help us plan a three-day trip and local food and other features of Hualien. The rooms on the third floor are also very clean and quiet. In the morning, I can hear the sound of birds and enjoy the fun.

Very good stay experience

We stayed two nights at Cozy House in a double room with its own bathroom. The room was huge, with large sliding doors out on to a balcony, a comfortable sofa and TV. The bathroom was small but scrupulously clean and well laid out and the bed was large and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast although it was provided, but that was because we were out early both mornings. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but it is very good value for money.

Huge comfortable double room

Stayed two nights and it's a nice, clean place with extremely friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are simple but has everything you need, the bedlinnen is sooo soft!:) Also nice breakfast. Well worth the price!

Perfect for a few nights!

I stayed in Cozy House for couple of days. Tasha, Peggy and Shuilu are very kind and helpful. You can hear almost all info you need in Hualien. They have various room types, you can definitely find your desire&suitable room. It is very clean and cozy here. The vibe is young, you can always find someone to chat around.
Strongly recommend!
