If you are driving here finding it is quite challenging as Google Maps doesn't have the correct location. The signage also doesn't spell the name the same way as the booking web sites. The road sign spells it as Tsue Tee. However the owner will pick you up from the bus or train station if you let him know in advance. However I believe he and his wife speaks limited English.

However they are very helpful and made us feel very welcomed when we checked in. They gave us hot tea harvested from their plantation and showed us the best spots to watch the sunset. 

The room was basic but comfy. It had a nice view facing the tea plantation.

We didn't feel like driving to town for dinner so the owners suggested we try the food at another B & B next door about 10 minutes walk downhill. They called and made a booking for us. The food was rustic and homely but tasty and in generous portions. It was a great experience.

Breakfast was simple fare but the tea was excellent. They showed us around their tea plantation and suggested a few trails to explore. 

We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

One night stop over to Alishan

This place exceeded my expectations from the moment the owner picked us up from the train station in Fenqihu. I thought we would have to hike around the tea trails in the area for views of tea farms, but the guesthouse overlooks one! The owner took us on a walk through his tea farm and we saw workers picking tea leaves. He also gave us good advice for an easy hike only a few minutes away to take my kids on, so we got to see some other tea farms. Our room didn't have a view of the tea fields but some do.  

In the evening, he came to our room to let us know a beautiful sunset was taking place outside. The next day he drove us to the bus stop and stopped to let me take pictures along the way. Classic Taiwanese hospitality! 

There are no restaurants nearby so you need to bring your own food to cook. They provide breakfast in the morning. They sell their excellent Alishan high mountain teas. I don't think they speak any English, so if you can't speak Mandarin, you could have a little difficulty communicating.

Simple guesthouse on an incredibly beautiful tea farm

We had booked two nights thinking we were in Fenchihu. We phoned Cuiti on arrival and our hostess did pick us up 15 minutes later. As there was no eating facilities nearby she served us tea and biscuits. The room was clean and comfy but there was no breakfast served. Our host drove us to the bus for Alishan in the am and picked us up in the evening
The towel for washing was no bigger than a wash cloth! 
No English so communication was difficult. 
It was awkward but they did transport us to buses
