Lane to life never disappoints!! It is very near to Ximen Night Market (1-2 minutes walk). The room is big enough. There is no elevator but the room is very comfortable. I will definitely go back. Love this place

2nd Stay

Spacious room especially for standards in Taiwan. Towels and free bottled water are replaced daily but you have to indicate if you want the room to be made up. Room has TV that we did not open. Small refrigerator. Shampoo and liquid soap was provided for and bedroom slippers. There is bidet in the toilet. Room was sparse but clean and well maintained. Bed was of good quality, soft but with some firmness. Comforter was hotel level. No elevator or PWD access. Staircase is narrow and difficult to carry a large luggage - but still this depends on personal capacity. 

Quite difficult to find but hotel staff is helpful and responsive (via Agoda). It is in a small alleyway (Lane 76) that can be accessed via Chengdu Road. There is a small 7-11 near the entrance of the alleyway. From Chengdu road, you can see some plants on the wall with blue and yellow lights hanging on them. The door entrance of Lane to Life is after that plants with light decor which is actually for a different hotel. The hotel will provide you access directions for the main door and the room. 

They provide self-checkin which is perfect for lat night arrivals. You can also self-checkout and leave your luggage at the reception after checkout before your flight.

They provide complimentary water, tea and coffee for guests as well as some basic toiletries - shower cap, comb, toothbrush, chopsticks. You can refill your water bottle at the reception too.

Special shoutout to the staff for being so accommodating of all our queries especially for helping us with our troubles in Taipei. We left our rented WiFi router at the bus we took from Yehliu and asked for their help. They called the bus company on our behalf to ask about the router. They also ran after us (2 blocks away) when my friend left her cellphone at the reception after checkout. We didn’t get her name though. 

Place was in excellent location in Ximending a few minutes walk from the stores but away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourists and noise of the cars. Starbucks is a block away too. 

Excellent location, reasonable price, excellent service

I came to Taipei with my friend, the first time i came and really like this homestay, so kute, the staff also friendly and support guest when we need, the room so comfortable and equipment is nice. My room included breakfast and we had 2 way for enjoy. Thanks for take care with us and we are sure to come back againt

Nice place

Very good place to stay but only for the young people with good climbing skill since they don’t have a elevator and their stair is very high. But the location is superb, just 2 minutes walk to Xiemen shopping street and MRT

Very good but no elevator 

We arrived just before Typhoon Maria hit the island, the place is nice and the 2 girls are lovely, our room (3 single beds) unfortunately didn’t have a window so it was a bit like a jail cell! Thankfully it was only for us to shower and sleep! 

Beds were comfy.
Tv has good English channels 
Air con not the best but ok when gets going
