Small building with big rooms not signposted in English the number is easily visible with a booking office for tours out the front run by family lovely Grandparents, Plenty of English cable TV breakfast available would stay again.

Handy centrally located

We rented a two-storey apartment. It's spacious for us as there were only 5 adults staying in a room for 8. It's cozy except the air conditioning and the toilet didn't function too well. The air conditioner was quite noisy and the upper storey was quite hot since the fan couldn't push the cool air to there. The toilet couldn't flush very well. But the boss and staff were nice and helpful. Also they welcome non-locals since the rooms could be booked online and paid by credit cards.

We spent a night at Shuei She Sea B&B. The quad room that we booked was spacious, comfortable and well maintained (not a finger print on the white washed walls). Everything works as expected. The air conditioner was a little tricky though; instead of pointing the remote at the air conditioner blower, we had to point it at the sensor on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The room has its own wifi router that we had to plug in and switch on ourselves.

The bathroom is spacious and well ventilated. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was decent and being the only guests having breakfast, we were very well served and attended to.

The B&B has its own fleet of ferries for cruises on the lake.

Comfortable and Well Maintained

Shuishe is the larger of the two small towns on Sun Moon Lake and the better one to stay in. We arrived without a booking on a Wednesday and saw the sign for this B&B. We paid TWD4400 for two nights which was more than we had paid for a Minsu in other parts of Taiwan, but I think Sun Moon Lake is expensive. The village is small enough that anywhere in the town itself is reasonably convenient but this B&B is right in the centre of things opposite the ferry pontoons for the boats that travel across the lake. There is not actually a view of the lake as it is on the opposite side of the street and the other side has the views.

This is a small multi-storey place but there is a lift. Our room with one double bed was small but clean and attractive. There was a closet and an odd platform space by the window which gave us room to put our bags so we were not uncomfortably crowded. The B&B runs it's own boats across the lake and all the prices are competitive. A set breakfast was included. One day it was local and the other it was Western. As vegetarians we had less breakfast but did not go hungry. The breakfast area is around the reception on the ground floor. This is a very knicky-knacky little place.

The folk running it did not allow guests to move into their rooms before check-in time, even if the rooms were ready and they were very keen to have the key dropped off when ever we went out, but generally they were friendly and helpful.

Central & comfortable in Shuishe

It is very near to the sun moon lake pier, less than 1 min walk away and the tourist information centre is also less than 5 mins away. The staffs are also friendly and willing to help. However they will only be there until 9pm. The room that we stayed is a 4-person room, but we have 6 people, so they add on 2 extra beds for us. Although there are 2 queen beds and 2 single beds, the room is still very spacious!! There is also a water cooler in the room to replenish drinking water. 
Traditional Chinese breakfast provided is simple and nice. Overall it is a good experience staying in this guesthouse.
