What a great place to rest after or before exploring the Pamir.
Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and overall everything is well maintained.
Suitable for adventurers looking for a bed in dormitory as well as couples thanks to very affordable private rooms (we paid 220 somoni per night for the room).
The small inside courtyard allows you to safely park your bicycle or motorbike.
Location is great. Moreover, taxis are very cheap so it will cost you 1 or 2 euros to reach any place in the city.
We highly recommend.

The perfect spot before or after exploring the Pamir

Hostel is perfectly well located, near airport (you can go by bus, or few minutes taxi), and walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, etc.

I believe it is a family business, they are extremely helpful, kind. They speak English and the will help you in any way you need.

I stayed in private room, huge, with private toilet, but most travelers stay at dorms.

Kitchen is big, well equipped and clean.

It seems to be “THE HOSTEL” to go to if you are in the city in between treks and trips. 

The best hostel in the city

I would like to thank the staff of this hostel for being ready to help, to explain everything at any moment. Everything is fine in the hostel, single bunk beds, the rooms are cool, which helped a lot in such a heat. There is also a lot of space, a lot of people from different countries with whom you can make friends and share travel experiences during your stay. For the price this is a great hostel.

The best hostel in Dushanbe

I really loved staying here. Incredibly nice family runs it. They keep the place spotlessly clean and are always available to help out with anything you need. Well-stocked, large kitchen available. Good showers, spacious rooms. Decent WiFi for Tajikistan.

Great Stay in Dushanbe

Before starting the adventure "Cycling the Pamir Highway", I spent almost one week at the Green House Hostel to prepare myself. It was the perfect choice!

Staff:
Without their help, I probably wouldn't have been able to actually do the Pamir Highway. But they recommended me the very few useful outdoor-shops in Dushanbe and a bicycle-shop where I found a much better bike than I expected to find in this city. They even made a contact to Russia, to ship a sleeping bag in the quality I needed - the shipping took only two days!

Rooms and amenities:
The dorm, restrooms, kitchen and common area are all clean and pretty large. The Wi-fi isn't super-fast but this is a Tajik-problem...

Super-helpful staff

Loved this hostel especially the carpets and sofa areas all over the huge house. The private rooms were palatial and the dorms comfortable. Knowledgeable staff although not super friendly. Nice breakfast included but nothing special

Fantastic lovely hostel

My friends recommended the Green House for my final night in Tajikistan. It proved to be far better than I imagined! My own room with an ensuite bath! All the basic amenities for a very reasonable price. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and spoke English. They called a cab for me and gave instructions to the driver. I recommend the Green House!

Basic accommodations with easy access to the airport

Really nice accommodation in Dushanbe. Very close to airport and to center of Dushanbe. They have very friendly and helpful staff. Very close two street with local transport to center, railway station, bus station and airport. 

Staff is very helpful 

This is the perfect place to stay. There are dorm rooms and private room with ensuite bathrooms. I had booked one of the latter. The room was big, bright (a huge window front to the courtyard), quiet and wonderfully warm (great in cold November weather). The wooden ceiling was a beautiful sight in itself. Breakfast was huge and tasty, and there is a full kitchen that you can use.
2 supermarkets and several restaurants are only a few minutes on foot.
The best advantage, however, is the owners: They are really friendly, AND they can organise just about everything that you could wish for when it comes to travelling, either in a group or individually, on foot, by bike, via local transport, with a car/jeep. They also offer any kinds of transfers.
Costs/rates are super cheap.
It was a really amazing experience! I would return without any hesitation.

THE place to stay for the independent traveller

. the place is nice and clean but it the locations is not so comfortable 
 we enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere
  and met bickers from all over the world, and it was very nice, but it was not special and it could be any where
