The staff here were so friendly and kind. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they created a perfect candlelit dinner outside by a fire. The bed was massive and very comfy and the outdoor shower was a cool feature. Absolutely loved this stay in an amazing national park. Thank you Miss Loy and Rixon for looking after us so well.

An enchanting candlelit dinner beneath the ancient baobab tree and a heartwarming dance with Maasai ladies added cultural depth to our experience. The waterpoint near the breakfast table provided a front-row seat to witness a mesmerizing sight—a herd of wild zebras arriving to drink.

Our time at the lodge was one of our best experiences, leaving a lasting impression on us. The kids are already eager to return to this harmonious blend of luxury and nature. Elewata Treetops Lodge is an ideal spot for families and nature enthusiasts seeking an intimate connection with the African wilderness.

It's a beautiful lodge.

Absolutely amazing hotel and experience!!! We were staying there for 2 nights in the beginning of September and absolutely loved it. The hotel is located right in the Tarangire park and they have a water-point for animals right in front of the main lounge area, so you always see either zebras, or elephants or buffalos there. The staff of  the hotel is very nice, friendly and helpful! The food was great! We also asked the chef to cook some local African dinner for us and it was delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable! 
We also got a walking and a night safari and it was great! 
We loved our stay at Treetops and I can highly recommend this hotel! I hope we will be able to come back there once again. Thank you Treetops! 

Great Hotel and Friendly Staff! 

location stunning, overlooking a valley, where you could see for miles from your treehouse.  Staff attentive to your every need, and also quietly efficient in background, servicing rooms and turn downs in the evening.  Read some of the other reviews about the food and I couldn’t agree more.  What they managed to whip up in the kitchen was fantastic, from breakfast, takeaway lunch during safari, to three course dinners in the evening.
One of the highlights was dinner in the evening around the pool, just above a watering hole.  with elephants gathering to take their last slurp of the evening, the zebras next followed by the wilderbeasts, clearly demonstrating a pecking order

There is so much to praise about this lodging.  It is not a treehouse, but you our room was at the treetops level so you had a great view over the bush.  The rooms were quite comfortable with the modern conveniences.

But what really stood out was the quality of the food.  The chef could have a job at a fine restuarant in any great city.  Creative sauces and fine presentations, and the best ingredients.

There is a very nice, small swimming pool in addition to all the other lovely features, as well as a watering hole just below the main lodge that attracts a variety of wildlife in the evening.  However, in the morning, the elephants seem to prefer the swimming pool.

Only one minor complaint, that could get to be more significant.  The road to the lodging from the park is about 1/2 hour or so, and that road is in serious need of maintenance.  There is a danger of it becoming impassable with the Spring rains.  The four businesses with lodging on that road need to get together and do some maintenance rather than wait.


Gourmet quality chef

Our starting point for an incredible honeymoon and to go on safari. Our arrival was phenomenal. The whole staff welcomed us very warmly at the front door. The facility is indescribably beautiful. Here we wish travelers a pleasant warm time. We had that. Living in a tree house was a childhood dream of mine. It is incredibly beautifully equipped and there is even a terrace. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I couldn't imagine that there is something so breathtaking. The staff is so hearty, the food is fantastic. I miss the words! One place that you can only leave with a heavy heart.

A dream

From the moment you were picked up at the airport, the warmth, kindness and service of Elewana lived on. Josefat accompanied us for 4 days taking care of every detail so that we could enjoy the safaris with comfort, accurate information, delicious food and familiarity. The wonderful staff, Mr Clay always willing to suggest and organize every detail of the day, Anthony attended us with total warmth and excellence at every meal both at the hotel and at every hotel meal. The spacious, comfortable rooms, taking care of every detail and necessity and with wonderful views of the elephants, buffaloes, zebras. A visit to the Masái tribe, the hiking safari and the atardecer in the mountains are imperdible!! An uncommonly recommended experience!

An unparalleled experience in Tarangire.

We visited the Tarangire Treetops Lodge for the first time in March 2019 for one night as part of a round trip with chameleon trips. The lodge is located just outside of Tarangire National Park, but it's just the banger. The rooms are all IN a baobab tree. The entire staff, starting with the massai, the guides on the game drives, the entire service staff - all incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and always in place. The food was excellent, even the lunch package we met with urgently impressed me, as no single-way kit was used there and we produced almost no garbage supplement.

My heart lives in Africa

Wow, it's fantastic. Great property in a breathtaking place. Super food, super cool treehouses. A dream. Mr. Clay and his team are doing a sensational job. The setting of the breakfast is unique. You can watch the animals drink. Hammer.
