Amazing staff! Eric and Colleen are very welcoming people who greet guests with open arms. The location was close to town and I had no problems finding things to do, and they were always willing to take me places I wanted to go! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely stay with them again!

Amazing Staff!

Had a great stay at Furahia Hostel! Eric is an amazing host and always willing to help! The best part was it's proximity to town. The village area is also great for walks. I felt safe and comfortable here. Would highly suggest Furahia for other traveller's. I hope to go back one day! :)

Had a great time here! The hostel is in an amazing location, close to the main road and town. I felt completely safe and well taken care of, and was happy with everything. Eric is awesome and would help you out with anything you needed! Can't wait to come back to Arusha.

Loved it!!

Stayed at Furahia Hostel and it was all round amazing! 
Ilboru is a safe neighbourhood, at walking distance from the main road and to town. 
The place is super clean, with common areas to socialise and all round reliable internet access. The rooms have big/comfortable beds, and wide closet space. Bathrooms were always clean, with hot water available at all times!!  
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Made me feel at home in every way possible and gave me the opportunity to experience real Tanzanian cuisine while still in pjs!!! Eric was also reliable and available at all times, which is convenient and makes you feel 100% safe in a new city.
Definitely price for value and 100% WOULD RECOMMEND

GREAT, COMFORTABLE & SAFE

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Good food which reflected the local cuisine. I also loved the garden surrounding the house.  I would definitely recommend Furahia Hostel as a great place to stay in Arusha.
