This is bad and stupid hotel, i recommend guys do not book with this hotel, they dont have good customer services and hotel ethics. Manager and other workers are thieves they took and change my 100 USD with their street rates without my permission. Their poor and out of date with everything. Rooms have cockroaches, bed germs

WARNING☠️ DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

The Bill Restaurant and Bar located inside the Mesuma  Hotel is absolutely horrible. I knew when I saw it empty in the middle of the day that something was wrong and also they only had one menu for the entire restaurant. So we placed our order and it took about 45 minutes to get our simple meals which were veggie rice and chicken rice pilaf. I looked toward the kitchen, which had window so you can see them cooking and there was the manager in the kitchen assisting the chef with the cooking since we complained about the wait time. When the food finally  arrived my food was good but basic, nothing special. My cousin’s face displayed sheer disgust as she could barely chew the chicken. She then explain to the waitress her disappointment with her meal, when the waitress failed to offer a solution we asked to see the manager. My cousin stated “I’m not trying to be rude but the food is horrible, the chicken is tough to chew, and there are too many bones!” She even questioned if it was really chicken she was eating. The Manager also offered no solution and my cousin was still made to pay the bill of 15,000 shillings because they took the time to prepare the food😳 even though they took her plate away. So she had to pay for a meal she didn’t even eat.

Terrible food, terrible service!

The only down side is how they respond to clients in the event they lose their room key, apparently they can’t open for you after a certain hour which may be frustrating for foreigners especially. The cheapest rooms were horrible with cockroaches, but the top more pricey rooms were generally good. I however would still recommend anyone to go stay there.

We are really disappointed after being treated very badly by staff very poor food from the breakfast buffet. It seems to be days old. We also found cockroaches in our room and were denied the complimentary bottles of water, toilet paper and a working shower head. We won't be back. The location is convenient and the price is low-- however the stress we've experienced from staying here cost us a lot.

Avoid this hotel-- very poor service and the food made me sick

Stayed in this facility for 2 nights. But too much noise on weekends plus micro elevators whereas most of the time are dysfunctional. Poor breakfast as well as untrained underage waitresses who keep on gossipinf about guests and their partners. Hotel Manager is completely know nothing about Hotel industry and how to handle customersa. Pity

Cheap but Noisy Hotel with Micro Elevators

We had a great time, glad for the services though the phone rang at shady moments 😁, we enjoyed the comfortability,  good food and we had an amazing view from our window. The room was in perfect conditions and had a perfect setting just how we wanted, simplicity and beauty.

Stayed 8 days including 2 Saturday nights where they had wedding celebrations. I am in favor of marriage and celebrating such a wonderful event but please a little respect for the guests trying to sleep. The volume was so high that the whole building was vibrating. On a positive note I can say that this is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Wifi needs repair, The food is OK but the choice is not great. Prices are affordable, the personnel is very helpful and dedicated. They accept cash only and the closest exchange office is far and hard to find.
