Stylish villa with only six rooms, with a large garden with pool, close to the beach. Large rooms, cool archietecture, and the nicest staff, creating the friendliest feel at home athmosphere. Homemade tasty food served in the restaurant with view directly over the pool.

Beautiful villa on the beach

We had five great days at Uzuri. It' pricier and more upmarket than many of the Jambiani alternatives, but is a much more premium experience. Spying neighbouring and alternative offerings, I would say Uzuri stood out with sheer quality and ambience.

Peace of mind, super chilled out vibe, wonderful staff and excellent premises made for  very highly enjoyable stay. We never bothered to lock the door after the first day. The owner and her hand picked staff were genuinely friendly and forthcoming, far beyond duty. A home away from home.

The marriage between Italy and Africa must have some downsides, but only minor issues that were instantly forgotten, and hardly ever bothersome.  So in that perspective, very well run establishment.



A home away from home

We spent three nights at Uzuri for our honeymoon. Best hotel we have been in Tanzania. Everything is perfect. From a very lovely staff to amazing room & food to massage. We really enjoyed our stay and would have loved staying even more nights. Perfect location close to the beach. 
We want to reinforce here the amazing staff which made our trip an unforgettable experience. Thank you again to the entire Uzuri team, you’re simply the best!!

The Dolce Vita

We spent two nights in this great boutique villa,. Host was very helpful and friendly, Staff were really nice, they organized a surprise birthday for my friend and made her day unforgettable. 
Room was comfy we had the one by the pool, really nice room.

Great place and amazing host/staff

I went on my honeymoon i checked everything with the agency and when i arrived there the room was terrible the AC was broken they didn’t want to fix it or change the room and she told us if we want to leave go ahead and that she’ll only lose 2 days so it’s nothing. I’ve never seen anyone this rude before and they’re not understanding at all neither helpful i was flying for 20 hours and i wanted to rest since it’s my honeymoon but it was a terrible experience and i don’t suggest anyone to go there.

The owner is terrible!!

Such a laid back, relaxed vibe with impeccable hospitality. We had such a relaxing few days here in August. The facilities were wonderful, our room had everything we needed and the pool and grounds were lovely and super well maintained. The food was really good every meal we had but the staff and service really put the hotel a step above. They went out of their way for us, highly recommend.

Laid back and perfect

During the last 4 days of our trip to Tanzania & Zanzibar, we stayed in Uzuri villa. It was really relaxing with an amazing swimming pool and in front of the beach. The room (ground floor) was really big and comfortable! It was also very clean. The food was great! Always fresh and good taste. For our honeymoon we got a free massage, which was very nice. Helga also took us to Bahari pizza restaurant nearby and we truly loved the great Italian pizza!
We hope to come back once! :-)

Amazing place at the beach!

Location: In front of the beach and around 40min drive from the airport
Room: The room size was really comfortable and the bathroom really big. I stayed at the ground floor room facing the pool-garden. Quiet and comfortable. Some of the upstair rooms were small. 
Cleanliness: Very clean and fresh bed sheets. The staff was cleaning every day.
Breakfast: The breakfast was really good with many options to choose. Omelet, waffles and always a fresh juice with the fruits of the day.
Hospitality - service: All the staff was smiley and friendly doing their best to help. The feeling is more like home than a hotel.
Transportation: The staff was always calling us a driver any time we needed.
Massage: The lady that is doing the massage is highly recommended, full body and back. She is really good and the massage area is outside with all the nature sounds.
Meals: We were surprised with the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and really good quality. We tried to eat also at the restaurant next to the villa - but here the food is so much better and the service cannot be compared. 
Tour: I strongly recommend a tour at the city, there are very nice neighborhoods - buildings with a lot of history. We used Robin for our tour and he was amazing - he is a local and has amazing knowledge about history, speaking 7 languages (+255772748086)

Very good service

I was at Uzuri with 8 other friends and this is the perfect beach stay to book along the Paje.

It's a little cut out from the main kite surfing stretch and you need a car to get around, but if you're looking to relax and have an intimate time with friends, this hotel is great option with top service.

The rooms are clean, the food is amazing and the manager, Abdullah, is super attentive and efficient. He made our stay even more memorable than we hoped for. He went over and beyond to help with all of our ad hoc requests!

The kitchen whips up food real quick. The veg curry, fish masala curry is great and so are the fish skewers with pineapples.

Overall, it's a clean, cozy, quiet and super comfortable property for a short or long break with friends, family or couples. Highly recommend!
