The first thing we noticed about this guesthouse is that the woodwork outside the room badly needed a coat of paint. Not a good sign. Inside the room there were a number of things that showed us that the owner has little understanding of customer service and needs (we booked two rooms and there were the same deficiencies). For example: 1. the double beds had only one bedside table 2. there was not a single chair in the rooms 3. the bathroom had plenty of wall space but not a single hook to hang your clothes on when you take a shower (what are you supposed to do, dump them on the floor?) 4. There was no soap in the shower - you had to move the small dispenser from the sink, then take it back 5.The bedroom had no hooks or cupboards, only a recess with a bar and two coat hangers 6. logging on to the internet was hit and miss 7. the breakfast was poor: Nescafe from small sachets, eggs and sausages that quickly got cold etc. - for some unknown reason there was no hotplate to keep the warm food hot.
This is nowhere near a 3-Star hotel, and we won't be going back.

Poor

The hotel is right by the river. The guest rooms are tucked away from the noise and hustle in a lovely garden behind the hotel cafe.
Comfortable bed and nice breakfast.
The toilet and shower are semi-open air, which is good for daylight and ventilation. The only downside is that, since it rained all night during our stay, we had to wipe the toilet seat every time we go to the toilet.

Cozy hotel by the river

We didn't stay here but we did use the bar downstairs as a refreshment stop. Considering it was Songkran and the busiest time of year the bar was relatively quiet, which is not a bad thing, and relaxed compared to the hustle and bustle of the Night Floating Market outside. 

Watering Hole

Although I never stayed at the homestay, I lived in Amphawa for 5 months and this was the only place where I could go on the weekend and get a delicious cocktail! Margaritas, Mojitos and much more! A cute, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Stop here for a drink while you're at the floating market, they have a food menu as well.

Nice stop for a cocktail

I'm here right now (August 8,2015). The cafe at Lobby is nice decoration. The lime soda 65 THB is quite nice refreshing. The ice mocha 65 THB also have a right taste. The sofa soft and comfortable. It's kinda place that I can sit for an hour enjoy a few drink watching people walk by, boat passing through.
