Baan Luang Harn Guesthouse 

Another little bit of paradise to add to my list of places I've thoroughly enjoyed. I chose to stay in Ayutthaya as my first stop while heading north. The location was perfect, a very short taxi from the station and what an incredible surprise the Baan Luang Harn is. There are so many options to explore, I chose instead a tour of the local UNESCO heritage site, which in reality was only 1km from where I stayed and about 30mins from Baan Pa-In Royal Summer Palace, a truly wonderful place. Anyway back to the accommodation, this was incredible value and the room and location was spotless. The cabins are set around a large water area surrounded by greenery. It's such a relaxing area, I found myself just sitting there letting my mind drift off. The pool was perfect, clean and tidy and welcomed in the heat. Although breakfast is available, there are plenty of options locally should you choose to purchase your own food. I took a short walk and found some amazing places to eat within 5-10mins of the guesthouse. They also provide bicycles should you want to venture a bit further. I'm sure I missed a lot of what Ayuthaya has to offer, and I'm more than happy to revisit another time and see some more of this amazing historic city. The room was perfect, everything worked..the bed was so comfortable and the in-room air-con was welcomed. There's a small veranda outside the room, and listening to the bird song in the morning was wonderful. With a great location, good size room and very hospital hosts, this is a little bit of paradise and I'm more than happy to recommend based on my own experience.
