We were on vacation in May of 2015, so at the time of writing this review, it's been 2 years. But I still remember this beautiful hotel, how picturesque it is! Very interesting rooms, nice staff who don't understand you but are trying to help you) Free bikes that we used to go around the neighborhood. There is a cafe nearby with very tasty cold coffee and English breakfast. It's worth a visit, at least to see the territory of the hotel.

We had our honeymoon, we broke up as much as we could!

To qualify this, there were multiple factors leading to my switching accommodations, not all of which are directly this hotel's fault or within their control, and the importance of the review is just so people are aware of what they are getting.  It is inexpensive.  It is quaint, cute and quirky.  The courtyard is charming. They were doing some construction.  Not only that but I had travel issues getting in, and tuk tuk issues, and the wifi was down that was causing me issues with planning and route finding. There was also a huge communication issue with me getting into town to do what I wanted to do that night - not sure if it was just a communication error or they were trying to "upgrade" me to a tuk tuk tour I did not want.  It took quite a bit of time to get this worked out and multiple people.  The room was really cute but not quite as clean as I would've liked as far as bed linens and mattress etc.  (I do pull back sheets and check mattresses).  One of the biggest problems was I was uncomfortable with the location. I did not have a scooter and with the location, was not comfortable with doing the bicycle thing.  It was a 15 minute tuk tuk ride from in town near the ferry to this place.  It took 3 tuk tuk drivers to figure out what and where it was.  No one knew it.  When he pulled in we were on the side of a major road that was dusty and busy and I did not see any restaurants or convenient stores or anything near by, and the only option was a 150-200 baht tuk tuk drive to go anywhere every time.  So that plus down WiFi (no way to research anything) was disconcerting.  Also I felt that Ayutthaya is way more spread out than the map lets on.  Things are farther than they seem, and I spoke with a couple of other tourists who were having the same issue.  And one fellow tourist tried to bicycle and had a wreck because he almost had a collision with a car.  I moved to a home stay on the river with an amazing host who made breakfast every morning and was extremely helpful and was much happier.  So if you have your own wheels and are looking for base accommodations or don't mind doing tuk tuks ALL the time or a bicycle aficionado at the very least and don't need much in the way of breakfast/help/service, this place would work fine.  If you need something more centrally located or more service, this isn't the best choice. Also this was only my 3rd night in Thailand and first time solo traveling and first time in Asia at all, although I'm fairly well traveled in general, so it might have been more OK for me later in the trip, however, however thinking back I still don't think I would've been OK with it, the way things went. There are a few simple things that could've made it so that I may have stayed for my entire booking, but it didn't turn out that way.  I paid two nights, Agoda refunded me one, but the hotel itself would not refund any nights, which I am additionally not impressed with. Poor customer service. I crossed the street at the train station since I was overwhelmed with the tuk tuk CF at the train station to get an unbiased 3rd party opinion at the hostel right there, and that man was so much more friendly and helpful and welcoming than the staff at Bouchic. I would recommend that over this - its only a 5 baht ferry onto the island.

I left after one night

Guesthouse very nice, a little out of town, but relatively quiet. We spent 2 nights there, in a beautiful room, the bed is on a very beautiful wooden platform, and the bathroom is perfect, really big and open on the roof, so very nice because there is no feeling of closure! The place is a real small museum, and a top of breakfast is offered (hot water and powdered coffee with cup available). The staff is overall rather nice too. At least: we wanted to take bicycles, which looked very good (Vtts), but at the end of a mile, the wheel of my crève arrives.. secondly we are looking for a guesthouse so contact the surprise fish who come to us, and they don't pay us, and they're unpacking us.

Somewhere outside Ayutthaya. You should definitely get a guide in advance. Once you arrive, the path to the sights is no longer a problem. Once you walk through the gate, you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The garden is so beautifully designed and the rooms are also beautifully furnished. So much effort and attention to detail are certainly very rare. For this, the room is unbeatable cheap. The rooms have an appealing size, and the bed is wonderfully soft and large. The bathroom, unlike what is often described here, is completely closed. There is very free water, air conditioning, and coffee. The hotel is very relaxed from the ground floor! The hotel is very close to the kitchen and can easily be reached from the main street. There is also a nice cafe and a nice dining room, where you can relax and relax. There is also a nice dining room with a small cafe and a café. There is a nice dining room on the 7th Street, where you can also get a refreshment and a refreshment room. There is a nice dining room on the street.

The most beautiful hostel in the whole world!!

On the main road there is a small and also quiet oasis. For a good guide, the Trip advisor post 2-3 before this is still true.;-) 4 stars only because our day deck had black hair and the material from the overcoat and pillow was not nice (polyester) that could be improved! Otherwise top price performance and good location, especially when travelling by car. There are free bicycles! We were 6 people and cycling in Ayutthaya is fun and easy!

Love of the Detail

A small hotel with few rooms but large and quiet. It is a little out of the center, but nothing that a TukTuk can't fix. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bed. Air conditioned, private bathroom with shower. Very well!! Close to the area there is not much activity.

Calm down 

It's a magical place, with very Thai rooms in the middle of lianas and vegetation! We loved it! a little violets, rudimentary SdB but you feel like Thailand! a little far from everything, but taxis are not expensive!

What a typical place!

We stayed here one night to visit Ayutthaya the next day. It's not bad all in all, it's characteristic. When we got to the room there was the air conditioner at its maximum. The room was small. And there was no remote control to change the temperature. I say this because the bathroom was outdoors so going back and forth between hot and cold made me feel bad in the morning. We had to turn it on every now and then because the heat was overwhelming.

Not up to expectations

The Siamese arrived on the last train from Bangkok and this was the only problem since when we rang the bell everyone was in bed and we waited a while before they opened us. The place is very nice, clean, characteristic and quiet, every day is guaranteed room cleaning, free water, toilet paper and the essentials for the living room (even products made to make the room smell), and there are bicycles to go around the country. The only sheep, but I think it's still worth going, given that it was the nicest room during our stay in Thailand, is that it's a little outside the center and at night with the dogs becomes a problem to walk around; and that there's little availability for breakfast, there's actually a few things beside it even if there's a good bar!

Very nice and characteristic.

Very nice hotel and very welcoming, no worries about adding an extra bed to a room. The rooms are very large with a private bathroom. The setting is beautiful with green bcp, decorations everywhere and lizards too! However, this guesthouse is very far from the center of Ayutthaya but the hotel staff will find you a tuk tuk to pick you up. Bicycles are also available for free, that's what you need to do in this city to walk to the many splendid temples. Internet available for free. I don't think there is a restaurant.
