White Beach Resort is situated just on the oceanline in the village of Had Shao samram, well away from tourist traps. The rooms are good with large (but hard) beds, the bathroom small with showers facing the toilets (!), and the staff moderately friendly judged from thai standards - as a visitor you will feel welcome, but not overwhealmened. There is local fish resaurant next door; a karaoke place next too may disturb, but the place is close to prime areas for birdwatching.
