Janpha Cottage 

I I stayed here for two months at the beginning of the year. For me it was my favorite place and I hope I get the chance to return. There is wifi - it didn't reach my cottage but there was a Lan cable, Mr Wim let me use one of his spare laptops to connect to the internet as I only had my iPad. My cottage had bathroom/shower with hot water. No air con in my cottage but the area was surrounded by trees which provided shade and kept the area cool. The kitchen was just outside the living room. It had a roof but was more or less out in the open. (One of the other cottages had a bathroom out in the open, the trees and plants outside acted like the walls) there was a fridge, tv ( I never tried to use it so am not sure what channels you would get) for me this was a great place to connect with nature and myself. Great spaces to meditate and do yoga. The roads close to the site were great for running. The Wat huai pla Kung (big Buddha) is a 5 minute walk away and town is less than 10 minutes on a scooter. There was a cafe and bar area which seamed to be for personal and residents use rather than open to the public. I got invited to a few party's where Mr Wim played his keyboard or guitar and the guests got up to sing and dance. His wife is a great singer. She makes sure everything runs smoothly. We became good friends. Mr Wim's wife would sometimes join my yoga practice and often stopped by my cottage to give me a sample of what ever tasty foods, fruits or drinks she had picked up during her visit to the local market. They also have a property off site which is more of a conventional home with air con. I preferred the he cottage as it felt more at one with nature.
