To be honest, this place was more like a gostel for me. It was cheap (about 550 Baht). We were looking for an overnight stay and this meets the need. Nothing special at all inside or outside (winterseason), but we were ok staying here.

Not thebest but cheap and a short walk to the train station.

The place looked very nice, we were not guests but they allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel while we explored the town prior to boarding our ferry. 

When we came back some hours later they helped arrange a taxi for us... 

We also used the wash room to freshen up.... All in all considering we are not paying guests they gave us a fantastic service! 



We didn't actually stay here but.... 

We were walking on our way to another place we had found online and we stumbled upon this hotel. We asked to see a couple of bedrooms and, even though the communication was not as easy as we would expect at a hotel reception desk, the rooms looked ok, big and clean and we decided to stay. One night + breakfast was 890THB. We were told there are two different buildings of the same hotel and that we were staying at the newest one, which looked kind of fancy, but was not. The bedroom was very large, it had a good AC system, very clean and good size bathroom. You could easily see some parts of the room had been renovated or updated but some of those were not finely finished, such as electrical wiring which was poorly taped and exposed. Those details didn't bother me too much, but I think if the management of the hotel took care of things like that they could improve their clientele experience, as the overall impression of the place is good. Regarding the comments about the ants from other users, I saw them too: small black ants that showed up when we left some candy wrapping on the desk of the room and that dissapeared when I cleaned up the desk. It did not bother me too much either because the ants left, they did not come close to the bed and we had had a much worse experience with ants in the jungle that made this look like something we could easily cope with. (the desk was covered with dust on the rear side which tells me they do not clean behind any furniture). To summarize: the bed was clean, big and comfortable and I had a good sleep; the bathroom was clean and I had a nice shower, the staff was not very good with any language I could speak but we understood each other so that was enough; the breakfast was buffet style with basic thai food and coffee, nothing fancy, but sufficient for what we paid. If you ask me if I would stay there again, I would say yes.

We stayed in this hotel for one night during a stopover for the ferry to Ko Tao. It's a cheap place so we didn't expect much but the service is truly terrible. We asked and paid for an extra bed in the room. Staff chucked a matress on the floor and that was it. When we asked for blankets the staff gave us a large towel and said that our son could sleep under that. It took one hour of talking and complaning before we got some blankets. The staff couldn't speak English and were clearly fed up with the 'Farang' asking for something normal like blankets. The room was ok for what you had to pay but the place is very run down. We were truly happy to get out of there. My advice: teach your staff at least one English word: service. 

Worthless staff

We stayed at this hotel, the older annex side for one night. We arrived in Chumphon from Koh Samui without a hotel reservation not realizing that it was a holiday weekend. Everything was fully booked but we were able to get two rooms at this place. We were given rooms on the 6th floor so imagine our surprise when we got in the elevator and there were only 5 floors. We had to get off and walk up a flight of stairs to a roof area that was under construction and that was where our rooms were located! It was very dark and immediately I felt unsafe. The rooms were very dirty and basic. We only paid $16.50 for the night per room so basic I understand but there is never an excuse for dirty. There were live electrical wires exposed from the wall, a hole in the ceiling stuffed with toilet paper, gum stuck to the wall behind the bed. Also a bizarre window and blind system from the main room into the bathroom that allows the person in the main room the ability to open the blind while you are in the bathroom/shower! What could possibly be the purpose of this? Everything felt very dirty and the rooms smelled bad.  It looks like staff are using this area for sleeping as we saw male staff members going in/out of other rooms on this floor. I actually propped a chair under the door knob because I was worried about someone pushing in the door overnight. We got up early and left as soon as possible. There is air con, hot water, tv, and free wifi but in my opinion this did not make up for the safety and cleanliness concerns. At most this hotel is worth $7 a night. I would not stay here again .
