I spent one night with my gf. The price is a bit higher than other but when you see the location just a step to the beach then you will understand this is the great one you can see. This resort located in Chaosamran beach,  My room have the pool at front and the beach behind. Reception is local people and friendly service. Room is clean and good decoration. Nice view , abf is still OK, near by you can walk a few minutes to 7/11, street food and truck food or seafood restaurant also have many and delicious. I recommended this place for anyone that go to Phetchaburi.

Fairly new, modern, small resort.
Has 12 units. 4 with outlook direct on the beach. All with double or 2 singles.
Good bathroom. Towels changed daily. Body wash, shampoo, soap, ear buds, and shower cap supplied. Friendly staff.
Kettle, flat screen tv, & aircon.
One tv channel in English would have been nice. If only a news channel. Bbc world, or Sky.
Considering low season, and the only guests, other than the weekend. Although not complaints about the room, was probably the worst positioned.

Nice, small hotel far away from the touristy places. We stayed in one of the ocean front bungalows on a Tuesday and only one other room was occupied that night.

The room smelled of camphor balls (?) but aside from that, the hotel is ok for one night. 
You can even order food to your room from the restaurant next door, but we chose to go to the restaurant vis-a-vis from the Blue Sky Resort. 

As for Breakfast: we were woken up in the morning by knocking on the door. It was our breakfast (microwave fried egg, toast, marmalade and something like coffee). If we would have known, we’d canceled the included breakfast, slept longer and had a snack someplace else… ;-)

Off the beaten track...

Not wanting to go for another stay in town, i booked into Capstone which is right on Chao Sam Ran beach in Phetchaburi. Boy....was i right on the beach indeed.

From the photos online, i thought that Capstone was a bigger place, but it's more compact than it seemed. Not that i mind. i always like a smaller place, so i don't have to walk 5 miles out to the reception or the carpark. And if i need anything, the staff doesn't have to walk 5 miles to me too.

i opted for the Sea View Villa that comes with a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe area and the living area had a full-size couch you can totally lie down and slack on. The room is very spacious even with the big pieces of furniture. The full panel sliding doors open up to the beach. i had a good first afternoon sitting out there listening to the waves, while i recover from the day's drive. The calmness of the sea was very inviting, and it didn't take me long to decide to head out there. 

The staff at Capstone don't speak a lot of English, but they are very kind in trying to decipher what i want and even was helpful to eventually call their manager and have her talk to me on the phone.

They have a cafe on the 2nd level where guests have their breakfast, and it's so well furnished and decorated! i was really surprised! It's a beautiful place for friends to get together, even for any birthday celebrations!

The stretch of the beach is clean with the sand was nice to walk on. The shoreline was rather gentle, even after swimming out there, i could still stand up and touch the bottom of the sea. The breakwaters further out there fend off the stronger waves that might come in; otherwise, this is a relatively safe and conducive ground for families with kids.

i enjoyed the drive to Capstone which passes by stretches and stretches of green fields. i am not sure if they paddy fields or plantations of any sorts but it was just nice to the eyes and for the soul. i guess that's why people run out of the city to come here.

Love being right on the beach...

Staff very nice , clean , tidy, beach at the front of apartment and swimming pool at back not to much to do in the evening and some times the locals use car park next door to have small party's, but perfect for relaxing in the day time .... We would stay again for 3days ...
