Hatyai Greenview Hotel 

First time staying here although almost every visit to Hatyai do pass by this hotel. From the photo provided by the hotel, they seem to have a wide front. When arrived, the wide front has been halved. Now it has been fenced up with metal deck for some development. Therefore the car park space in front of the hotel has been reduced. To compensate for the car park space, next door to the hotel is an empty building with partially demolished wall to make into a car park space. The front and the lobby is impressive and spacious. When checking in, the front desk staff were rather unprepared and seemed confused. Need to go through which booking site for the reservation made. Request for THB200 as deposit (refundable upon check out) and retained the passport. Got up to the floor where the assigned room is. The corridor and the outlook is very similar in format of another old hotel regularly stayed in. The room main door is still using metal key and need to push the lock button to lock the door and uses the key to unlock. Not using the one way lock. The room set up too is very similar to the said regular hotel. However, the work table and dressing table is separate, thus making the walk way into the room narrowed. The room looks big and spacious as there is not settee or sitting chairs. Bed is comfortable. Room is generally clean. However the water pressure is rather slow as every room has its own water heater (self controlled). Every room has a single door regular refrigerator. But need to plug in to switch on the refrigerator (which is empty - so no mini bar) As it is located in a quiet part of town, and just beside the khlong (canal), the hotel is very comfortable and relaxing surrounding as it is quiet. They do have a restaurant next to the front desk, but seem to be no customers most of the time. They do have room service. Wifi in room is okay. Each room's password is on the sticker paste on the wall next to the bed. As it is not close to centre of town, therefore, it is away and not within walking distance to places for shopping and food, although close by there is a stall or two. At night most of the shops would be closed. So need to drive out to shop. It is value for money for the rate they charge
