Box Boutique Resort(บอคซ์ บูติคน์ รีสอร์ท) 

Like the title says, I've been staying here ever since I found it several years ago, mostly enroute my drive or ride up to northern parts of Thailand as I make it always a point to cross the border from Malaysia at late evenings (I'm Malaysian!), and this place offers a peaceful place away from the city centre for a good rest before the long drives or rides to the north (Krabi, Phuket, Hua Hin, etc). What I like about this place is obviously I get to park my car or sportsbike just underneath the room I am sleeping, and the check in and out counter is open 24/7 so u do have a slight peace of mind at night. Cleanliness is OK, amenities are basic but you are to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Soap and shampoo provided, towels as well.. there's even a mini fridge in the unit so that's really pleasing to store your cool drinks you purchase from any 7-11 nearby. Aircon works well, bed is clean and so far no after effects or I would have call it quits. I lost count but I believe I have stayed here 7-8 times now. I would recommend this place if you are: 1. Travelling alone / couple / friends (each room only allow 2 pax I think). I have bargained for 3 pax when we were riding as we needed only few hours of sleep here. 2. Need just a place to crash and sleep in the evening or take showers in between. This is not a resort as the title calls it.. so it's not a place you would want to spend hours enjoying the room or place.. 3. Don't want to be stuck in the city centre of Hatyai in the evening. There's several bars nearby.. but I have never tried them.. there's both healthy ones and sleazy ones from the looks of it!
