My girlfriend and I went away to celebrate our graduations in Feb 2020. We were looking for a quiet, tropical get-away where we could take it easy as well as go on adventures. We chose Garden of Joy on Koh Chang – and we could not have made a better choice. In short: the place really lived up to its name. It was beautiful and set in a tropical garden. It was like living in a small rain forest. Our stay was so personal and magical all the way through. During the time, we got to know the owner, her niece and wonderful staff. The service was amazing, the food was wonderful – the value was outstanding in other words. You could even rent scooters. And just over the road was a convenience store. The owner even helped us plan and set up excursions like snorkeling and hiking. We celebrated our first year together as well as my birthday. The staff celebrated me and the owner even made me a birthday cake. It was magical. When the time was up, we did not want to leave. We are looking forward to coming back one day.
