K.B. Resort Koh Chang 

After surviving the thrills and spills of the great Thai driving experience, Patchara and I arrived at KB Beach Resort in need of some well-earned rest. Tucked away on the beautiful sands of Koh Chang, this resort turned out to be the perfect antidote to the madness of the mainland roads. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had booked a standard room for our first night, but to our surprise—and thanks to a few handy connections with a well-known celebrity chef on the island—we were upgraded to one of their Beach Front Houses. Waking up to the sound of waves just a few steps from our bed was truly unforgettable. The accommodation was clean, stylish, and perfectly blended comfort with nature. Whether it was watching sunsets from the porch, dipping our toes in the warm ocean just metres away, or simply relaxing with a cold drink in hand, it felt like paradise. The resort itself is well-maintained, with a chilled vibe that suits both couples and families. We also appreciated the resort’s ideal location—close enough to enjoy island attractions and nightlife, but far enough for peace and quiet. The on-site restaurant served up delicious Thai and Western options, and we were lucky enough to sample a few off-menu delights courtesy of the local chef connection! All in all, KB Beach Resort exceeded expectations. A hidden gem on Koh Chang, and one we’ll definitely return to.
