4 ladies traveling in Thailand. Resort is right on the water at the end of an adorable street filled with everything you need (massages, restaurants, bars, mini markets, music, shopping). We booked the oceanfront bungalows. Clean, well kept, great internet, excellent service. Loved happy hour. Great coffee! Breakfast included a Thai soup, Thai main course, rice, small salad bar, fresh organic eggs , fresh fruit, pastries and cereal all included.. It wasn't lavish like the fancy hotel we stayed in for 2 nights in Bangkok , but it was fresh and delicious. Sunsets on the mats outside on deck ocean front are so much fun and the smiling, friendly , dancing staff are fantastic and quick. We took full advantage of pool which was was usually just us during the day and maybe one or two others. The hotel is very safe and easily walkable to the beach which is about .6 miles away or 15 minutes. This isn't a 4-5 star resort, there is wear and tear-it is a jungle island that is not easy to reach for goodness sake. We thought it added to charm. We had plenty of a/c, hot water, towels, comfy bed, and great service. So what if a few tiles are missing around the pool or deck.. For the price the level of comfort , service, location and amenities is a bargain. One thing to note-lonely beach area is known for its nightlife and clubs. You can hear the constant beat of the EDM from the clubs from about 10:30pm-6:30am. Easily taken care of with ear plugs. Love Warapura!
