Fabulous location with large and very clean rooms. So much better than anything else in this price bracket. We booked three nights initially through booking.com for 1200 baht per night. Having arrived and decided we liked it, we negotiated another ten nights for 1000. Five minutes walk from the beach, located in a quiet bit of Klong Prao. Within walking distance of the slightly livelier Kai Bae, but the beach in Klong Prao is definitely better, and indeed is better than White Sands in my opinion. In the hotel there is no pool and no breakfast, but there are plenty of pools and the sea in the area, and a lot of very good value breakfast places. Most people we spoke to who had breakfast included in their hotels got bored with it after three or four days anyway. Some people here complained that the walls were thin and they had difficulty sleeping, but we had no such bother. However, our room was on the top floor and backed on to the stair well, so that probably insulated us somewhat. Room B12 is the one to request - it's huge. Another minus is that some rooms have safety deposit boxes but not all. Anyway, we felt extremely safe here, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
