Tuk Tuk Guesthouse Koh Chang 

A great place to unwind and relax after a long drive from Pattaya, close to main road . The road Leading up to the guest house does seem like a steep incline, but it it is deceiving, I'm in in my middle 50's and I was on the Main Street in a few minutes not even realising I was there. Don't Judge it from the out side , go in and ask to see the bungalows , for a very small price I was surprised to see it had a fridge, fan , air con, TV, hot shower ( instant hot water) and Internet. The room was ver clean and tidy , the effort was taken to make animals out of the towels on the bed, coat hangers on a rod , Little flower display. The room was big enough to be comfortable ( plenty big enough for 2 people) . It was in October, the off season, so it wasn't all that busy with tourists. I stayed for 2 nights and was a little reluctant to leave. I was with friends and they wanted to see mor of the Island.. The manager was just lovely nothing was to much trouble for him ( as the price was low I didn't expect the extras in the room or the effort the manager put in be so help full . Out side you had a area with table and chars , mats to lay on. A place to park . You can hire motor bikes A cafe to relax in . The trees helped cool the area. There was a coulple of other bungalows occupied at the time , the bungalows where far enough away for privacy but you where close enough to talk with other guests if you choose to do so , I enjoyed having chats with them as we where able the pass on some information about the Island and chat in general about our respective countries. In the evening along the main road about a 5 minute walk . The Road was lined with markets, from local food cooked as you watched to clothes and other items. I looked forward to my evening walkis along the road deciding what I was going to eat, the road is flat this made the evening walk easily achievable and the stalls made it interesting. Throughout the day there was plenary to do. From seeing Elephants. , riding them through the jungle to playing with them in the river, walking to the water full ( walking track was good, many places to stop on the way or if you didn't want to go to the top. ) there is a small fee for this but you can stay as long as you want. I really enjoyed swimming at the bottom of the water fall the water was so refreshing. Thee was at least 2 people there to help anyone if you got into trouble. Fish swam around you and bumped in to you. No fishing took place there so the fish had nothing to fear from you. There was also areas where you could swim on the way up a few locals where there. There was boa tours you could take to other islands , Beaches to spend the day on, shopping along the road and convince store that sold many items takes a little while to get around as so many interesting things. So you can join in as much as you want in the activities or just lounge around relax and enjoy your time as you like.. I
