6 reviewsI am presently staying at this hotel I know from before and trying to explain what gets people confused. This hotel is a real hotel called "Alysia Spring resort", located on the main street in Bang Bao, Ko Chang. It also appears on Booking and Agoda as "Aree resort". Rooms as of January 2024 go for about 700 baht, including WIFI, AC, and a nice and clean swimming pool. The reception is a bit akward, as the lady does not speak well english, but you will be lead to a clean room with all amenities. ATTENTION: DO NOT BOOK IF YOU SEE "OYO 1139" before the name, and if the hotel is listed as being in "White Sands beach". This is a SCAM, which will lead to your bank card being charged but does not connect to the real hotel. Some crook is using pictures of the hotel, along with pictures of another hotel in White Sands, in order to charge your credit card. AVOID BOOKING THEN. To avoid the confusion, the hotel owner was forced to list his hotel under a new name, "AREE RESORT". BOOK ONLY "AREE RESORT", this will lead you to a very decent place in BAng Bao, for a good rate. He picture of the swimming pool are real. The rooms are clean. I hope this will help the next travelers, as it got me quite confused, but as I knew the hotel from before, I returned there and was happy.
