100 percent my favourite place I’ve stayed in Thailand , you feel like you are at a luxury resort ! Julie is incredible the staff are outstanding and Julie’s brother cooks the most amazing Thai food I have ever had in my three visits backpacking Thailand. I even got engaged here so it is very very special , you must stay here if you are visiting Koh Chang !

Me and my girlfriend booked two nights at paradise cottage at first, but the moment we arrived we decided to extend for two more but ended up extending for 6 night! The place is absolutely marvelous. Julia, the owner is amazing. Her brother is the chef and he cooks delicious Thai food! The rest of the staff is very nice and friendly as well. We choose a room with air conditioning and sea view which was real nice. The pool is nice and the pool area is wonderful, a lot of sun-beds and hammocks. Great value for money. And if you want to rent a scooter, go fishing, go to another island, Julia will help you arrange it! We had a wonderful stay here

We were supposed to stay only for a night but ended up spending a week here. 

The place is beautiful (the photos seem to be taken before a renovation) and the owners were helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, they had some of the most delicious thai dishes as well as nice breakfasts, sandwiches etc. The room was clean and cozy with a nice terrace and a seaview.

There’s restaurants, bars, stores and the beach withing walking distance, however I would recommend renting a scooter to fully explore the island.

Will definitely visit again whenever I get a chance!

Julia, her brother Long, and their staff make this place incredible.

I was very happy to stay there for two weeks. Rooms are spacious, with a small balcony, offering beautiful views during daytime and sunset.  There is a small gym and pool for the guests.

Need advice, trip booking, transport? Julia will arrange it all.

And if you're hungry, there is a good selection of Thai and Western dishes.

I can highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic 4 days at this resort. 
Staff is exceptional, especially Pia who is the best hotel staff I ever meet in Thailand. 
The food is delicious, we tried the whole menu. 
The panorama is breathtaking from the patio. 
The cottages are clean with a comfortable bed, the sea is right at your terrace. 
I would strongly recommend this place if you stay in Koh Chang. 

Great view on the ocean, nice relaxing spots to chill out, amazing personnel, music in the bar on spot, very good kitchen...and the barman makes a hell of a White Russian. Centre of lonely beach is nearby, but far enough to enjoy a good night sleep.

Me and my friend booked a bungalow with a fan but upgraded to a seaview bungalow with AC and it was totally worth it - to wake up with the beautiful view of the ocean. Paradise Cottage is perfect if you want to stay away from the all night long parties but still want to be close to all the action. The owner and her brother gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to the island with tips of what to see, where to go and what trips to book. All the staff was super-friendly and service minded - they really know what they're doing here and I highly recommend this place!

Stayed at paradise cottage for 8 nights in a sea view bungalow. We loved it here. Clean rooms with a great ocean view. If you like you can enjoy the sunset every night from you're own balcony! Very nice and helpful staff always there to help. Chill athmosphere at the pool and ocean. Walking distance to lonely beach area where you will find a lot of good restaurants and nice bars. We rented a scooter to explore the area which is easy to do from this point. Paradise cottage serves a good breakfast. We will highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay but from walking distance to bars/restaurants

I found my paradise on this hotel.

It is a 5-10 minute walk from the main action at Lonely beach, but feels secluded and private.

The hotel location is stunning. You have small areas with shade where you can just watch the ocean and kick back. These small areas have two "beds", a table and two hammocks.  

The pool is more then adequate and was nice when you need to cool down a bit.

I had a bungalow with aircondition and and sea view. The room is quite simple. There are no television or work tables, but why would you stay in to watch television or work??
The aircondition and shower worked perfectly. 

The staff is the best. It's run by a friendly lady from Thailand and the employees are mostly from Combodia. 

It was so nice that i will visit again some time in the future.

I have visited Ko Chang many times, and I always end up here at Paradise Cottage Resort. The staff Pear, Ali and owner Julia epitomise the meaning of hospitality. The restaurant area is so chilled and relaxing, and with the new addition of a swimming pool just steps everything up. Both the Thai and western food is top notch. And great prices. And if you like cocktails, Pear makes the best on the island. Highly recommend!!!

We booked here for 2 nights and ended up asking for another as we really liked it. The communal area was fantastic with individual cabanas with hammocks and days bed on them. Some ants were around the communal area but nothing that was too bothering for us. We watched the sunset from here alot. The beach isn’t the best for swimming with rocks and reef everywhere but still beautiful. The main guy who greats you is fantastic, super smiley and helpful, speaks great English and provided great service. 
I think we paid just under $50 Aus a night and got a basic room over looking the ocean with an aircon but no fridge was a bit of a let down. Either way we still loved our stay here for what we paid. 
The beds were comfy and the rooms clean with concrete floors and basic painted walls. 

A short walk up from the beach (5 mins) there is a small section providing a choice of scooter rentals for 250 baht a day, food, music and massages. It was excellent having good choice of food and what not close by but not hearing a sound of it from the accomodation. You really step in tranquility there. 
A slight bummer was that it’s obvious the island will be taken over by tourists partying soon enough. Plenty of new building and expansion going on. So I’d get in quick staying here. It was amazing and well worth it.

BIG YES to this place!

We stayed around one week in this place. Generally its an awesome place. Quite clean, really friendly and informative staff.
We stayed the first night in one expensive fan bungalow to wait for a cheap one, wich was totally fine and clean. We had around 6 days the cheapest bungalow and it was absolutely ok, too. 
Maybe some could complain about the hard Thai matrass but for us it was completely ok(to know: just the cheap bungalows have the hard matrasses, all other bungalows are with super soft matrasses and the staff warned us and insist to have a look before we book).
Its really difficult/not to say impossible to reach the sea, there's is no beach in front. Some people went a rocky path into the water which the staff move free, but it was a bit to dangerous for us.
To get some fresh water you'll find a swimming pool in a really relaxed bar area.
There's also a restaurant in the bar witch offers a breakfast and really good Thai food and awesome shakes.
The place is really close to lonely beach, there's a lot of restaurants,bars, party areas and a overcrowded beach. For those who like this its perfect!

One big minus is that its really loud in the night/until 6 in the morning, there's some electronically music bar close.(defiantly not the places fault, they take a lot of care to create a relaxed environment)
But for sure its one of the more quiet places around lonely beach.
After one sleepless night we decided to buy some earplugs and we slept like babys.
