Lanta Thip House By Swiss-Belhotel 

I absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so warm, kind and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away. It feels authentic, relaxed and ended up being one of my favourites on Koh Lanta. If you arrive at low tide, don’t be put off by the rocks, you can absolutely still swim there. When the tide is in it’s perfect, and even at low tide there are easy spots to get in. The rocks aren’t sharp and feel safe. The restaurants along the beach are lovely Eco Restaurant was my favourite for sunsets which is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel also helped me hire a bike, which gave me more freedom to explore. The biggest highlight for me was the pool area. It was incredibly quiet and relaxing, with no music playing, which I personally loved. It’s very green and lush, and there was shade available throughout the day. Most beaches on Koh Lanta only have shade in the morning, and by lunchtime you’re in full sun with very few umbrellas. The sun is extremely strong here, and at other hotels I stayed at I ended up hiding in my room. This hotel was a godsend because I could properly relax outside without overheating. The rooms are very clean (cleaned daily), the shower has great pressure and hot water, the bed is comfortable, and the smoothies are excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
