After arriving on Koh Pha Ngan our second day in Thailand we took a guess and told our taxi driver (150 Baht per person) to take us to Haad Yao on the west coast. We were a little overwhelmed trying to find a good place to stay at a decent price. After talking with a couple of places we found No Name Bungalow. I'm not sure I even saw a sign for it, we wandered into a little place with a couple of Bungalows (Euphoria, Silver beach, and a Dive shop). After talking with the wonderful woman who runs it, Ju (sp?) and checking out the brightly colored, clean and comfortable room we took it. It was definitely the best deal. Rooms ranged from 600-800 Baht depending on if you wanted AC or just a fan. The room was great. Hot water and ac worked great. We were steps from the gorgeous beach (soft white sand, palm trees, and turquoise water) and the family took such good care of us. We rented a a motor bike, booked our ferry ticket, and got massages all through them at great prices. (The massages were amazing! We got one everyday!) We had a blast on Koh Pha Ngan and were glad to have found such a wonderful place to stay.
