Resort The Fair House Beach Resort & Hotel 

As a returning guest, I arrived with a group of friends hoping to stay in the same rooms we enjoyed previously. Unfortunately, because our group was larger this time, we were placed in a different part of the hotel. Although it was still a deluxe bungalow, the difference in quality and comfort was significant. Room & Location We were assigned rooms located behind the restaurant, and this immediately set a different tone. Upon arrival, I slipped on the stairs leading to the room and ended up with a large bruise on my foot — not the ideal start to a holiday. The room itself was noticeably smaller, and I struggled to unpack due to the limited space. The layout felt almost like being in a basement. The bathroom was located down a set of stairs, which didn’t feel very safe, especially at night. It’s clear that this part of the hotel needs renovation. The shower was frustrating to use, as I couldn’t switch to the shower head, and the tiles looked worn and slightly dirty simply due to age. Noise Being positioned behind the restaurant meant early‑morning noise from breakfast setup and evening noise from cleanup. It definitely affected the sense of relaxation. Facilities Breakfast was a highlight — a generous selection and good quality. The beach remains the hotel’s strongest feature: absolutely beautiful with stunning turquoise water. The pool by the beach, however, didn’t feel entirely safe due to sharp tile edges inside the pool. Staff The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which I truly appreciated. Overall I still like this hotel and would consider returning, but I would absolutely avoid the room we were given this time. The location and condition of that particular bungalow simply didn’t match the standard I experienced on my previous stay.
