Royal Muang Samui Villas

We had four nights at this amazing resort and it simply wasn't enough. No matter how good the reviews were we read about it we really couldn't believe the quality of this place and we would return in a heartbeat. It is obviously very well managed as the attention to detail is astonishing and the staff work to a very high standard with a smile on their face. Location – very good indeed. The reception goes out onto the street which is full of bars, restaurants and shop and then spills down through beautiful gardens out onto the beach. Accommodation – brilliant! We went for one of the entry-level suites and simply not could not believe the size of it or the quality. It was absolutely huge with a separate bathroom, huge bed And lovely living area. Go out through the patio doors and you step onto a walkway out to your Terrace area. This was amazing place to spend time. Comfortable and views into the garden where we saw some colourful and exotic birds which made our day. Inside, the air-conditioning is excellent, the coffee machine produced great drinks and the fridge had a freezer compartment as well which was great for keeping ice in. The bed was very comfortable, the layout superb and it made a real home from home for us. Wi-Fi – solid and good quality. Those no logging in and it covered the whole resort from Reception even out onto the beach. It was reliable, more than good enough for browsing the Internet and watching videos. Food – we didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening as we loved the Street scene but the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. A huge range of high-quality produce both from Thailand and internationally. There were enough hot and cold dishes to satisfy everyone and they had some wonderful touches like making fresh juice to order and producing those delicious little coconut macaroons. It really was terrific. Pool and beach – again, everything was as good as it could be. There were plenty of sun loungersavailable both at the pool and at the beach and we always managed to get two together in the shade. The pool is beautiful and the same can be set for the beach. It is really well maintained by the staff down there and they kept a close eye on your comfort which was nice. All in all, this was a magical four day stay and a lot of great memories were made. We can't wait to return!
