Visit Resort 

I visited VNDR for 4 weeks last March. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and am severely obese. I did have prior experience in hiking, yoga and strength training but was out of practice and out of shape when I arrived. I did extensive research to select this option to kick start improving my mental and physical health and can share that VNDR only exceeded my expectations on every front. As everyone shares here -the food was amazing. I am a omnivore but found the food very fulfilling and tasty. The accomodations were clean and comfortable, the cleaning staff were absolutely delightful and contributed to the overall positive environment at the resort. The fitness/management team Netta & Leo are very gifted at what they are doing and very caring individuals. They contribute every day to positive environment. The Yoga is provided by 5 different yoga instructions (one each weekday) which offered a great view into different types of yoga and different teaching styles. I enjoyed all of the classes and instructors. The specialists brought in for breathwork, soundbath and ice bath, and optional Reiki treatments are all phenomenal, I wish I could have brought them home with me! In the end, I experienced huge gains in my mental and emotional health. My physical transformation was amazing to watch over the 4 weeks, while I continued to struggle I felt my strength and health improving each week. I lost 4.5% of my body weight during the 4 weeks I was there and continued to come home and lose another 5% over the next 9 months, slowly, steady and healthily. I am returning for 3 weeks this March and CAN NOT WAIT to see everyone again and take time in this amazing bubble of self-care.
