Bar and another swimming pool at lobby side. Lift available at various levels. Rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 people, you get plenty of backyard space with rooms. Perfect getaway destination, rooms are big and washrooms are just awesome to ignite your romantic side. In totality, a must stay place. Perfect destination for leisure and holidaying. Spirited staff and very helpful too. Music sets your mood. Away from the hustle bustle of other Thai cities. A gem of holidaying space. Walk to the beach and you'll come to know the beauty of this resort.

Great location, big rooms, a bit dated

We stayed at the ANBR for 2 weeks and found it to be comfortable, staffed by extremely friendly people working as hotel staff and adjoining restaurant personnel. Wifi was reliable, rooms very clean, and the views from the sea-facing rooms wonderful. A slice of heaven smack dab in the hustle and bustle of the Ao Nang beachfront.

Excellent Value and Location

Nice location and nice breakfast BUT rooms need renovation, poor beds, 1 little shampoo and 1 little shower gel for 2 persons (not more, hotel policy said staff) TV not working for over 2 months already for whatever kabel excuse, aircon Fan not working, ...  
Most disturbing was for each facility you might ask, client needs to sign a document, policy of the hotel. Is this an administration office ? I didn't feel welcome. I had my bar bill transferred to my room: 3% charge, hotel policy. Ridiculous.  Wake up management or soon no more customers.

Disappointed

The hotel is situated in front of the sea, the view when breakfast is taken and breathtaking because it is close to the sea, and the dawn colours everything pink! The breakfast is varied and abundant; the staff is very kind. The room is clean as well as the pool and the common areas! The location is ideal for all movements, centre and departure boats for excursions.

The charm of Thailand

Mini Suite - ocean view, breakfast, wi-fi. Rooms somewhat dated and worn. See photos for what's available in room. A few negs - stained lounge, broken door latch, badly tarnished bathroom mirror. Downstairs can get noisy with live entertainment in the evenings; also noise from busy road. Fiddly light controls on console near bed made it difficult when returning at night (stumble in dark to find switches, then challenge to press right spot). Got a bit ridiculous using a torch to go to bathroom at night. TV but no channels because someone in hotel did not pay for the access license. Many little things added up to being somewhat annoying.
Swimming pool okay, though sharp edges on surrounding tiles, tatty and broken deck chairs, noise from next door air con units. Cannot run a bar or food room tab at pool (not convenient if not carrying money in your swimmers).
Not a relaxing beach resort for some but more of a bar-restaurant scene with accommodation upstairs. Mostly seems set up to attract tourists from inside and outside hotel to the restaurant and bar. Guests have to pass through the activities in the entrance area at night. A good place for those who enjoy the night life and want to be close to all the town has to offer, including access to food places, tour operators, money exchangers, markets, etc. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Not quite a resort

It was a first time visit to Krabi n to this hotel. We just walked in to this hotel. Just for the sake of not to have hustle, we decided to pay to the hotel for 2 nights. All were lies by the reception staffs. The pool was under maintenance (upgrading work was taking place) but the we were told that we still may use the pool. Guess what, the pool was in peace mess. We'll went to room, the TV wasn't working due to cable problem and we requested to change room....too bad all the rooms are same and no discount was given. They asked us to acknowledge a notice on non smoking in room in fact I told them when we entered the room was already in cigarette smell. The receptionist was very rude saying that their room never been smelly. The hotel need to upgrade and its better to be honest to customers. And pleased to be know that this hotel don't provide iron n board. I don't think so I will recommend this hotel. Staffs during breakfast are very helpful.

Really Disappointed

Me and my wife stayed here 4 nights and we enjoyed the room and that it was so close to the beach. The room and the cleanliness of the room is very good, the bathroom is a bit dated and could really need a handshower.
The people working at the hotel speak a very good english, so that is an big bonus.
I can not recommend the breakfast as the selection is to small and both times that we were there there was almost no rice left. 
It has to be said that we were there very late in the season and it almost felt like they were closing. When we arrived to the hotel we were informed that there were no working channels on the tv, which was a bit annoying, but there was a good WiFi so we watched what we needed to watch on our phones.
I would stay here again another time because of the location and the rooms, but I think that this hotel is best in the high season as there were both noise from renovation and a bad smell of paint in the hallway.

Nice room and good location

Stayed here for a night before going to our villa. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and was a very varied and tasty buffet and they would cook fresh eggs for you. There was a nice clean secluded pool with comfortable sun beds with canopies. Also the bar in the evening had a live band which was great. 
Would definitely recommend this hotel - Thank you

Great overnight stay

Had a very enjoyable relaxing stay at this resort. Lunch, dinner and breakfast first class with friendly staff. Beautiful ocean view with cool sea breeze blowing through the main dining area. Water pressure and AC in the room was great with comfortable beds and pillows. Swimming pool great. Cocktails great, live band great. Definitely worth it, great value and location. Will be back again for sure.
