This hotel is great. We arrived late in the day and our rental car (1200cc) barely made it. The road was extremely steep and narrow. Make sure to rent a more powerful car. We didn't want to park next to the rooms for fear of not being able to drive up the next day. The staff (owner?) drove us and the suit cases down to our room. He gave us his phone number just in case we needed him to come and get us. We walked up to the restaurant later and another staff (Hom) was especially wonderful. We asked about dessert but they didn't have any on the menu. She came back later and offered us her own dessert (for free). We really appreciated this act of kindness. What an amazing host! The view from the rooms are great! I didn't mention that we were upgraded to AC room. If you have a car and want to experience a different part of Thailand, this is a good area. The tea plantations can be seen from the rooms. We were happy to have come here.
