We stopped here after looking at a few other places at higher prices and being disappointed. This was quite a find at around 600 Baht and we had an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly, and the bungalow was very clean and quiet, with A/C. The bathroom was semi-open air, being attached to the room (and covered by the roof); it was only open to the outside air at the eaves and there were no bug problems. The bungalow we stayed in was at the end of the drive and had a secluded nice local view of a small creek below - it was wooden and with a deck but there were others that appeared to be mostly concrete at least from the outside. The location is about two kilometers outside of town just south of an arch over the main road and about two hundred meters north of The Imperial Mae Hong Son Resort - it is located on the west side of the road.
