I booked 2 nights at Rimtarn Resort after seeing the pictures on the website. My initial room was pretty basic, small toilet, average room. I spoke to the management and paid a little bit more to upgrade to their bungalows which were a world of difference to the standard rooms. A quaint little cottage in their finely manicured gardens which had a huge bed and lots of amenities. Their location was perfect for me to visit the night market as well as a daytrip up to Pang Ung. It also provided the peace and quiet if you wish to just chillout and relax with a book, which is what I did. Had great sleep and the staff were fantastic. The breakfast spread was superb, just eat early as it tends to get cold pretty quickly during the winter months. Highly recommended if you get the bungalows.
