Had a great Stay! Clean rooms, and very good Restaurant! High Recommended! Friendly english owner! Everything there was perfect. Good located in Center of Pai. You can get to the famous night market in 5 Min walk.

Excellent Resort and Restaurant!

I had high hopes for this place after reading such rave reviews, unfortunately I was disappointed with my 2 night stay (left one day early) at Oasis Pai. 

I think the owners have changed at this establishment, as the reviews do not accurately reflect what I experienced. 

One of the selling points for me was the advertised free shuttle to town. 

Upon arriving and enquiring about this service, the lady that greeted me pointed in the general direction of the town and said that I could either walk or rent a motorbike. 

As a solo female traveller, I didn’t mind walking to town during the day but I didn’t feel comfortable walking back at night as Oasis Pai is in a very secluded and isolated area, so I had to pay for taxis each time I wanted to go back to the “resort” at night. 

What made me feel even more isolated was the fact that no one was ever around! I wanted to enquire about laundry services but had to walk into town with all my stuff on the last morning to do laundry instead. 

I literally had to leave my room key and money (they only accept cash) on the reception desk as there was no one there to check out!! (I left at 9:15 a.m., it wasn’t that early!) 

My cabin also smelled quite mildewy and the bed was extremely uncomfortable (very hard mattress).

I never saw the advertised bar or restaurant, just a garbage overflowing with beer bottles and multiple cigarette packs on the tables. 

The only highlight for me was the pretty view from my cabin and the owner’s cat and dog - who were always around :) 

Overall, I would not recommend this establishment, especially to solo travellers. 

Not the oasis I was hoping for 

Probably we didnt ask for a "tripadvisor review" and there is a reason... they dont need to. Its an excellent resort, wonderful and lovely staff, the rooms are in excellent condition, and the view is relaxing. For this price, its the most valuable resort in my opinion. Highly recommended for you.

Excellent Vacation

We were there for two nights and really enjoyed it! The owners are very friendly (we were allowed to shower after our check out and they gave us a free lift to the bus station) and every bungalow has a small balcony with a nice lake view. You have to walk about 10-15 minutes to city centre, but it's a nice quiet place! 
You get free water and they always tried to help us out planning our day. We had a great time there!

Nice bungalows with lake view 

Nice place to stay in Pai within walking distance of the town. Really kind owner with a cute kitten. Only downside was quite a lot of little ants about the place but they didn't spoil the stay at all. Would recommend. 

Lovely place to stay

It's a nice bungalow, a little out of the way, but it's pretty quiet, Connor's super helpful, and he's giving great tips for Pai, and he's also been able to rent a scooter for a little bit, and he's got free, fast wool, and free water, and he's very good at recommending it.

Very disappointed in Pai's oasis.

We stayed at the Oasis Pai Resort for 4 nights! A charming, quiet, relaxing place. A perfect stay! As soon as we arrived in the centre of Pai by minibus, we called the hotel manager who offered to pick us up right away. Upon arrival, we were very welcome, Connor, he gave us a map of the city and told us what to see and do in the surrounding area, where to eat well and not expensive, where not to go and things not to do! All we had to do was to rent a scooter and start with your card! We rented our scooter via a small terrace and everything went very well. The small bungalow is operated, we go wide enough! But there is no shortage of fridge, and not expensive, where not to go and things not to do! Connor always knows that when we leave the hotel, we can take care of our customers, and we can always take care of our small terrace.

A wonderful place of human size!

I've been here for two nights, I've found myself very well, clean rooms, lake view, bedside mosquito nursery and very nice owner. The only thing I've been doing in the various hotels in Thailand is giving you a map, marking you on the map all the interesting places, telling you where it's worth going and where it's not worth going both economically and in terms of the beauty of the place. Truly a great person! Always available. The place is run by him and his wife and you can see that they care about us making a good impression! I'd definitely come back to Pai. I'd recommend it!
