I made an unscheduled stop at Pai and headed to the first hotel I saw. It was a stroke of good luck because it is located on Walking Street, a short stroll to the riverside. The room was spotless, spacious and well equipped with AC, fan, HBO, safe, kettle, coffee, tea and bottled water. The bathroom was equally spacious and well equipped. There was a choice of four breakfasts. I noticed a few reviews mentioning the noise from the adjacent bar; I was aware of the music when sitting outside but I was in a downstairs room and the music simply couldn't be heard through the walls. I would certainly stay here again.
