Good Morning Pai House

We really loved our stay at good morning Pai. It is perfect for a chilled and minimalistic stay! Great value and the staff are all friendly. They helped us organise a motorbike to hire and one gave us a lift into town one day free of charge. It was clean and we were given fresh towels and toiletries daily. But there are a few things to note - good morning Pai is a good 15-20 minute walk from the main town centre. We had never hired a motorbike before but thought it was worth while as we would spend a lot of time walking (also all the main attractions are quite far out from Pai so it’s good for independence). But just one thing to note as we also had a frightening incident on our final night. We had handed back over our bike as we were leaving the next morning and therefore had to walk back from town after dinner. A stray dog followed us for the last part of our walk home, which is through some rather dark country roads and then proceeded to follow us right up to our hut. He started moving his mouth and looking very aggressive so we were lucky he didn’t bite one of us. The dog then spent the entire night outside our hut both growling and howling. It made us feel quite uncomfortable and uneasy. Although this is not the fault of good morning Pai it’s just from our experience of our stay! We wouldn’t recommend walking back in the dark.

Great hosts and place to stay BUT... 

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 6 days. We did get freshly towels and water every day. The dont clean the room when your there. We didnt mind, i also dont clean my room everyday.. nice porch where you can sit and relax. It is a 10 a 15 min walk to the center (no dogs, its a perfect walk dont worry). The room is clean, hot shower and a good bed. Ill recommend this place to the people who want to relax in pai.

Quiet and peaceful 

I was very satisfied with my cabin. It is a beautiful quiet place near a Buddhist temple. At night you can hear the dogs of the area howling. After the dogs, it's the chickens' turn. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's still a quiet place without a lot of motorbikes.

Travel to the North

These bungalows are cute and clean with a comfortable bed, huge bathroom and HOT shower!! Something we didn't come across very often in Thailand at all. The management of the resort is a little lax, the front desk doesn't usually have anyone there, however they have a number to call if you need to ask questions. There is no restaurant on site but they offer free tea & coffee all day. There were bikes for us to borrow which made visiting the town much easier given the resort is located a fair walk outside of town. If you have big bags try and find a tuktuk to the resort when you first arrive as we were told the walk wasn't far and we walked with out 20kg backpacks, we both had very sore shoulders by the time we reached the resort. The views from the bungalows are nice and the gardens are pretty. Pai in general was not our type of place, the drive out there was horrific and the town itself is extremely overpriced and catered to the younger, hipster, western tourist without much authentic Thai feel to it at all so as much as we don't recommend Pai in general, Good Morning Pai was a nice place to stay if you do decide the make it out to Pai.

Beautiful Views & Quiet Bungalows outside of the busyness

We had such a great time in Good Morning Pai , the room is small but Cousy,just near to the busy town, but far enough to having a quiet and silence time , perfect for my morning meditation. My wife forgot a  reading glasses in the room, we realize when we was already on the way to Laos. We contact the owner and She was so kind to send the glasses in Bangkok, she also  paid for the expansive of the post parcel. I will be back in Pai , and I will stay again at Good Morning Pai . One to ten is TEN for me.

A very charming hotel a bit far from the city but in the rice fields, the proprietair adorable very clean with a very interesting price I advise to
