great place for a busy-bee like myself to escape the city and soak up with nature and Pai Peace. highly recommend for those who love privacy and just want to stay away from crowd during their break. i visited Pai and friend recommended to check out Mahanapai Villa. It was during beginning of rainy season. LoVe It !! this house is NOT A RESORT, HOTEL, BED&BREAKFAST. basically its 'your house'. they got maids to clean up your bedroom and the place. And its less than 15minutes walk into center of town or i called it The Emporium Road :) the villa is not on the main road, so its noise-pollution free! if you are into thai boxing exercise, there's also an outdoor gym trained by real Thai boxer from Lumpini Boxing Stadium to sweat you up. what i love about it the whole villa is all woods which is hard to find now. Pai seems to be turning into more bricks and stones. oh, wifi works great! better than in Bangkok too. my great experience at mahanapai. will definitely return and bring more friends to rest and relax there during non-peak season of Pai. highly recommend for writers, artists, and nature-lovers!
