Absolutely fantastic accomodation. My girlfriend and I stayed for five nights in February '19 and loved it. We had a double ensuite room which was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great AC. The common area is great to chill-out and for relaxed socializing.

But the absolute best about Jikko's Harem is the outstanding staff. We had messed up our booking (wrong month) but they corrected it for us without extra charges. Also, my girlfriend had broken her ankle the day before we got there and all the staff was extremely helpful. Especially Jojo, who gave us free rides ("free town shuttle" is included at Jikko's) to the hospital and restaurants and gave us so much advice. We would have had a much harder time without you, Jojo! Thank you!!

Sometimes they have a small free barbecue at Jikko's Bar in the town, and shuttle there and back was very convenient. My girlfriend was so happy to be able to participate in some fun despite her foot!

To everyone at Jikko's Harem: thank you so very much for making our stay a happy memory when all the circumstances pointed into the opposite direction.

Wonderful staff, great rooms, perfect chill-out-area

I stayed at Jikko Harem for 3 nights and enjoyed my time there.  There hostel itself is about a 10 minute walk form the night market and all the bars, restaurants etc.  As it's a bit away from the main streets, it's quiet and has a very chilled atmosphere.  A basix breakfast was included which would normally consist of toast, scrambled eggs and an Asian breakfast option as well as tea and coffee.  The staff were helpful and can arrange trips for you.  The dormitory rooms were very basic but were comfortable enough.  A locker was provided and each bed had it's own socket but no light.  A slight negative for me was the shower was not hot and Pai gets pretty chilly once it goes dark.  I found I had to have a shower before 6pm or I would be freezing.  However, it's definitely worth it for the money and Pai is a fantastic little town with a great atmosphere.

Nice place tucked out the way

Just 15 minutes from the main street in Pai - which is a bit further than other hostels, but still easy to walk. You can see that this area is really developing and there are some brand new restaurants and coffee bars around. The hostel is also new and has a really nice "Arabic" style. I booked a 6 bed-dorm for women, as this was cheaper than the mixed dorms (didn't understand why, but fine by me). It was really nice, airconditioned, dark and clean, with a bathroom immediately next to the dorm that I guess only the girls from my dorm used, as the mixed dorms had a bathroom close to their rooms. 
We had a good time with the barbecue where also the owner and some of their friends/family joined. The owners where super helpful, whether I wanted to rent a scooter, needed a fridge or needed to rush to the busstation, they helped out. Also for the different people who stayed there and where injured due to scooter accidents. The staff went out of their way to assist them. Not sue in how much time, but in the future I guess the area of the hostel is going to be booming.

New, clean, friendly place !

Definitely the best place I stayed in Thailand. Located only 10 min away walking from Pai “city center” (I felt in love with this town), Jikko Harem is a recently renovated charming hostel where the owners treat each one of the guests with special attention. We travelled in a group of 4 and they took us to city center on this full tented sidecar scooter while having a laugh all together. We also hung out at the hostel bar where they showed us their brewed beer.
They also recommended places for a good massage and for food. 
Positive aspects: clean rooms and bathrooms (there is always someone cleaning). Friendly staff, bar service, pool table for free, breakfast and towel provided, transfer service to town center provided free of charge (we used it 2 times a day). 
Negative aspects: none!
If I ever come back to Pai , I am visiting Jikko Harem again!

Place to stay in PAI!!! 

Pretty new hostel and has a moroccan charm about it as soon as you walk in. The staff is amazing and super funny! Decent breakfast in the morning. The first time I stayed here, they had omelette but this last time only had fried rice. Both delicious as I appreciate a hot breakfast but the omelette were extra great! Beds were super comfy and the rooms are well laid out and quiet even when the party in town has ended and people are heading home!
