Where do I begin, as soon as I walked through the gate of River Jam I felt a weight lift off me and so relaxed. Of course Pai is relaxing anyway but here is like another level. It’s just like a hippie commune there’s a central covered bar and kitchen area with an open fire pit and hammocks all around with the bungalows and bunks around the edge. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great, everyone is so lovely and as soon as you arrive you feel as if you are part of the community right away. There is free access to the pool down the road which is gorgeous and a great place to relax, there is also free water to fill up your bottle and a little kitchen for preparing food if you wish. The location is perfect, out by the river and really peaceful but just a 5/10 minute walk into the Main Street in Pai, Walking Street. I stayed in a 6 person dorm which was really comfy I had a great nights sleep and not too warm at night and it was so so cheap! There were also bungalows for 2 people which were a little more pricey but looked really nice if hosteling isn’t really your thing or if you are coming as a couple. I really can not recommend River Jam enough for the community feel and perfect location. It really is paradise. I will be back!

At the hostel
Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. In the shared kitchen, you can cook anything you want. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone.
Sports fans will be able to enjoy a yoga area. You will find these entertainment amenities on the premises: a karaoke, a library, a picnic area and a barbeque area. Swimming fans are going to enjoy a pool and an aquapark. Children will be happy, there is a playroom for them.
