We love the restaurant at cabbages and condoms in Pattaya. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant, no cook, no coffee shop, and the pool was drained. We arrived hoping to be able to eat dinner, but there was absolutely no food available, so we had to drive about 20-30 minutes away to find a place to eat. The views were beautiful, and the staff were nice, but we wish we were notified that there wouldn't be a pool or restaurant. If we had known, we would have selected a different hotel. I would advise to call before booking to see what amenities will actually be available. Overall, disappointing. If I was sure the pool and restaurant were open, I might consider staying again.

Had potential

I went to C&C resort with two friends. That was lucky as there was no one else around. We arrived and the receptionist seemed confused that there were two rooms booked. After a bit of confusion, we were driven to our rooms (up a fairly steep hill). 
We had booked VIP rooms which were large, airy and had great views. The jacuzzis in the rooms worked well and were clean and fun. 
It took some time for the largely non-English-speaking staff to warm up but when they did they were friendly and helpful. 
We are each evening and although many things on the menu were not available, and on one evening were pre prepared as the chef was going home early. However, the food was excellent and very good value. 
The resort is a fair drive from the national park but we arranged a car to take us there. Well worth a day out. 
The swimming pool was great fun although a little run down and needed some refurbishment. 
Best of all was the fact that there were animals all over the place - both wild and domesticated. Cute dogs kept us company in the restaurant. Cicadas shouted their thing in the evening. And a pair of goats with their deer friend nibbled the bushes and drank from the pool while we lounged. 
Well recommended for an out of Bangkok experience during school holidays, when the place is quiet.  

Eerily quiet resort 

Staff were very welcoming. I had read there was a spa but when I asked I was told it was closed.  I asked about breakfast--it started at 9 am which is quite late to start breakfast, especially when wanting to beat the heat of the day. Room was very run-down. Hot water heater did not work in shower. It appears they are not putting effort into keeping up the rooms. There are much nicer places to stay for this price. Price is too high for what you get. Nice staff and a good cause are the reasons it gets a 2star.

Nice facility, clean and beautiful grounds. Grocery, restaurant and cottage resort all in one. A bit of humor and whimsy. This was a nice place to stop and stretch the legs, eat and get a good place to stay the night if needed.

The restaurant promises that the food will not make you pregnant.

My family usually eats here and we never get disappointed of how friendly the staffs are. The food is great for its price. We stayed in the hotel last July and it was a nice relaxing experience! Over all the hotel and it's restaurant is worth the price.

Great Food and Stay

Cabbages and condoms is a quirky little restaurant in Thailand that I highly recommend you visit while in Bangkok.

The restaurant itself has an outside dining area that is made out to look like a Forrest canopy. 

The food is very good and reasonably priced, it is a must see tourist destination for either lunch or dinner.

Great food for a great price

A new visit to this place that's always as surprising. A haven of peace in the heat and noise of Bangkok. Quality Thai cuisine. Efficient and fast service but not warm...We come here for the atmosphere and because we know we're in a good action. Average prices. Condoms offered with the addition. Last order at 10pm and at 11pm we kindly let you know that you have to leave.

A relaxing space in a garden

We were alone at the hotel the first night, a little worried because there was nothing around and no certainty that the restaurant was open! Finally we ate very well at the restaurant, it was perfect, everything we asked for was available, very good and very fresh! Beautiful two-level swimming pool, nice room. Located not far from KHAO YAI National Park

Hotel a little isolated but very good
