TJ Patong Hotel 

I booked Onibaku for 27 nights and I am not disappointed. The staff is very nice and helpful and the rooms are big and clean and the beds are more than adequate (a bit hard but it's not something that bothered me). It does look a lot better in the pictures, but I have no problems with some worn out furniture (it honestly wasn't bad and doesn't take away from the perfect score). You have both 7-Eleven and Family Mart 10-50 meter from the hotel, laundry service on the opposite side of the road, massage everywhere and there's even a really nice cafe/restaurant nearby called Troy (try their chicken pizza!) with extremely nice staff as well. There is even very cheap thai food nearby, or if you want more expensive food, you can even find that without having to walk far. The beach is about 10 minute walk from the hotel. However I found out that northern part of the beach is more much enjoyable. More clear water and better beach activities (place for volley, etc). WIFI is ok. It's enough to browse the web and even upload some photos. It's stable and I had great signal on 2nd floor (they have different hotspots for different floors). But it's also covered by free Patong WIFI which is a lot faster for uploads, but not as stable (connection drops sometimes). There's even a TV but I never turned it on. All in all, I'm happy I stayed at Onibaku. I even met a friend who worked there (who unfortunately had to quit a week or two after I arrived). Thank you for your hospitality Onibaku!
