The room, which is a beautiful, very large and comfortable bungalow, has a very nice little porch for relaxing surrounded by plants. The swimming pool we drink great wine to relax and refresh after the Khao Sok park. The staff is wonderful, willing to make our stay super pleasant. They take us to the village, which is as close as we want. We rent there the one-night tour to Cheow Lake, which I recommend to anyone who wants to do, because the cabins are great and very clean with a private bathroom. Upon returning from the tour and without having any reservations at the hotel, we are left, using the pool and other facilities, until the time of departure for the airport. I can't thank you enough for all the details that were left.

A wonderful place.

We stayed at this nice property for three nights which is located outside of Khao Sok town and that makes this a nice peaceful resort in the national park. Twelve rooms are available on the property and though we were a couple we booked a two room cottage as we desired greater space. However naturally these were designed as two separate rooms for two couples. 
This being in the national park obviously does not have the same comfort level of city hotels. However it does have a very good feeling of being in the park, with a lot of trees and vegetation. 
The restaurant on the property has very limited choice for food which is of a lower standard than one would expect on Thailand. The scooter that we hired from the property was not in great shape and a bit old compared to other rentals in Thailand.  The manager is always available and willing to help with all the information you require on his finger tips. The other staff are also very obliging. 
A nice property to stay at if you are willing to compromise on the food a bit. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity, walking distance.

Hotel in the National Park and Vice Versa

Great, memorable experience all the way around. Facilities very comfortable and unique in rainforest. Helpful and friendly staff.  Chor and his staff were super helpful. I feel like we made a friend. And the best food we had in Thailand!  Important due to the remote location in national forest.

Memorable and Excellent Stay!

The rooms are okay but pretty basic. One shower was the first day cold. Next days half warm. The hotel is outside of the village which we knew but is not so convenient is you want to have dinner in the village. The hotel provides a shuttle but only till 5 pm. The main issue I have with this hotel is that the manager is really pushing tours. Apperently they make a good margin on this so they really try to push you in tours. Also if you ask for transportation to the village the price is almost double when you arrange somewhere else. In my view not a good and clever way to service your clients. In my experience Khao Sok is overall developing in the wrong direction. Not really friendly like elswhere and really expensive tours that are not all that great. The nature is beautiful but I would only recommend to go there if you don’t get frustrated with the cons mentioned above.

Basic hotel management to pushy on selling tours

Excellent hotel, excellent care for the staff and the owner. A quiet, beautiful, comfortable and clean space, near the lake. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, located in the middle of nature between a beautiful landscape, perfect for couples and families. They offer all kinds of activities and facilitate transportation anywhere.

If you are travelling to do one of the Khao Sok tours then I couldn’t recommend this place enough! 

The hotel rooms are huge (about 35m square) and extremely clean. They are located deep into the hotel grounds (almost jungle like) which is amazing because you are away from the road but it feels as if you are immersed by the nature. The showers are spacious and are warm (if you travel around rural Thailand then you will know this is a luxury). The swimming pool is by far the cleanest pool I’ve seen in Thailand and is a great spot to unwind!

But…the main thing we were impressed by was the friendliness of the host - his name was Chot! I’m honestly blown away by how much he went above and beyond for us whether it be booking the tours, transport or renting the bikes. As soon as we arrived at the hotel he ran out to carry all our bags and made us feel super welcome. He told us great stories about the local area and was super informative. I would have stayed here just for this above all the other wonderful things the hotel has to offer!

I will be recommending the hotel to all my friends and if I’m ever back in Khao sok it will be the first place I come back to.

Super friendly host and incredible hotel!

Sergi and myself, Clara were amazed by the place and the people.
The place itself was super beautiful and peaceful. All the facilities were nice, the restaurant, the swimming pool, the room. Since we've been in Thailand this is the BEST place we have been so far.
When we checked in, they show us the room. It was so tidy, clean and without any insects. Later on we could enjoy and relax at the pool and enjoy some really nice food at the restaurant. The food was delicious and in big quantities. 
Also, you feel you are in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by trees, green and the sound of nature. 
The people that was working there, ALL OF THEM where so kind, smiley and helpful all the time. They helped us booking activities in the Khao Soak National Park, they were so kind that they helped me going to the doctor. They were the absolute best of the place.

Francisco, from Tarragona, runs the place and he and his employees are really nice people. 

Definitely a place we want to come back and we highly recommend, not just for all the facilities and quality of the place, but also for the nice and kind people working there.

BEST HOTEL IN THAILAND

We spent 4 fantastic days with the family at Khao Sok Hotel & Spa. A very nice welcome from the team, a comfortable bungalow (with 2 bathrooms!) in a magnificent tropical garden. The excursions offered were great with a mention of the lake. Finally, the swimming pool and the excellent chef's kitchen complete this excellent hotel 😄

Very welcome, very warm guests, very peaceful place, we ate very well and the massages are top plus the possibility of giving away her laundry we stayed there for 2 days with our daughter and frankly it's a good address

It was a good experience

The constant noise of some kind of insect from here seems like there's an alarm running constantly. Badly located: along a road and away from the city. Not cool because in the evening you don't know how to go for a walk without having to take a taxi or a scooter. And big problem when booking a jungle tour (because there are only 3 km that are accessible by trekking in the national park without a guide. There's necessarily a guide). We booked a trekking through the hotel. We went to the jungle with a guide and then ate in the jungle and came back at night. After 3 the guide said that it's going to be a walk here, while we explicitly asked the owner to stop where we were going to leave a hotel. We didn't get there because they didn't want to get me to the hotel properly. They didn't ask me to pay for a meal. But we got to go for a meal. We got to go for a meal with a guide and then we got back to the hotel.
