Well constructed spacious bungalows with decent beds, mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms. Central sala in the garden ideal for family relaxation. Great location next to the river for tubing. Hopefully the resort will see fit to stop charging non-Thais more money at their restaurant (the menu is published in Thai and English) The same food has higher prices in the English menu.

Nice resort, great location, let down by racist 2 tier pricing.

The resort is very pretty and the online photos are great, but the place is a money-making machine with little regard for its guests. 
The breakfast is horrible, the worst quality we had in Thailand. The staff aren’t genuinely nice or friendly like in other places. Rarely have I seen so much fake politeness. 
The. Come the outright lies. The lake tour is expensive. The minivan was late to pick everyone up and then it turned into a mad rushed race. We were told the torches you need for the cave visit are included in the tour price, but we were brought to a market and told to buy them. We were told to bring plastic bags but then were charged a fee because of this at the national park.

When we tried to talk to the resort staff after the tour about the many problems, all of a sudden the woman’s English disappeared and she just kept saying oh ok. It’s interesting that her English was very good when she needed something from us.

Instead of a relaxing tour to take in the sights, everyone was treated like cattle or sheep- so prepare yourself. 

Real tourist trap with bad tours

The entire tour of Khao Sok was awesome.

At the welcome and orientation, every minute details were explained to us. All our queries were patiently listened and answered.

The room was pretty good. The overall ambiance of the room was just perfect to feel its closeness to nature. What impressed us that there was no plastic in the room. Everything was made of wood and glass.

Our first activity was Elephant Bathing program. It feels pretty amazing to be close to such a huge creature and the entire activity was well-organized and executed. Right from feeding the elephants to bathing to lunch everything was awesome.

Next activity was Night Trek with our Guide: Kung. He is a fantastic human and very down-to-earth. He explained to us as many things as possible despite being not very good in English. His knowledge about wild insects and animals is appreciable. Please tell him that we saw snake during our canoeing tour. 

Day 2 was the most awesome and amazing day of our life as we went for an overnight lake tour. No words can explain the beauty of Cheow Lan Lake as it can only be experienced. One of the best days of our lives and will always be cherished for lifetime. Being vegetarian is tough, but the team ensured that we always have something to eat and not just something, something good and tasty. The jungle trek with a bit of rock climbing, kayaking, cave tour, animal spotting, etc. was were all enjoyable. 

Sleeping in a floating bungalow was very unique experience. 

The best part was to go back to Basic: Away from the world of Electronics and Internet. It just felt *NO WORDS*.

I can go on and on and on. Those 3 days were the one of the best days of my life and will cherish those for entire life. Thank you very much Khao Sok Riverfront Team for everything :) :) :).

P.S.: 1. Please do not expect luxurious things in the room or during activities especially during overnight lake tour.
2. We would have loved to come at a time when water levels in the river were better but its nature and out of human control.

Mesmerizing Khao Sok and Awesome Trip

Great bungalow with a clean bathroom, a great soft bed, very nice, everything was clean, a good working airco. The people of the resort were very friendly and helpfull, they were very nice people, good restaurant

Great stay

We booked this Resort because we wanted to go to the Khao Sok Lake with an overnight tour. In the package they offer 1 night at their resort with it. We got the warmest welcome, probably ever received at a hotel. We went bathing with elephants and the next morning our amazing tourguide brought us to the lake. The tour was filled with amazing boat trips, jungle trekking, kayaking and animal spotting. Sleeping in the floating houses was a nice experience but don’t expect luxury!

They took care of food and drinks and really everything was just organized well. 

Would 100% recommend and wish we could’ve stayed for longer.

Best choice for overnight lake tour!

We had a great time staying here. Great value for money, really cute bungalows, amazing food and fun adventure packages. Would definitely stay again. Staff were so lovely. Great location as well.Thank you.

Great trip

We stayed at Khao Sok Riverfront Resort for four days and had a really nice time. The food was very good, the lodges were beautiful and the people were super friendly! Will recommend this resort for sure!

Great stay with a really nice restaurant

Sparkly clean rooms. The room is small but it has all you need. The air conditioning is quiet. The mosquitoes net really helpful.
The gardens around are beautiful. 
We stayed there 4 nights, a couple with two kids 6&8. The restaurant is good.
On the bad side, the beds are very hard and the pillows are extremely high.
The staff is very pleasant and informative. We booked all our activities through them.

We eat two evenings in the restaurant and everything we ordered was good as well as the nice and friendly service

The bungalows on the river seem great but we have already booked ahead from home a different place

A pleasant place

We stay with the 5 of us in Thailand, my 2 sisters, father and mother. The riverfront resort is very customer friendly and the facilities are very clean! When we arrived there were fresh cold mint towels and some tasty juices ready for us. 
The houses we stayed in were very clean and the food in the restaurant is very good!
The best part of our stay was the jungle toure with an overnight stay on khao sok lake. Our guide 'M' was absolutely crazy, he was making jokes and making fun with us! Later in the evening we had a beer together and had some good conversations. 'M' made our trip extra good, besides all the jokes he knew a lot about the area and was telling us cool stories.

Overall our stay was very good and we'd love to come back!
