More than a boutique hotel, it looks like a correctional institution, no concessions to style, scarce and a little sad. But the rooms are very clean, the comfortable beds with excellent mattresses, the TV works, the air conditioning is clean and the bathroom is spacious. The reception offers no smiles or words of welcome and English is an unknown language.

It's not a boutique hotel, but it's okay.

LiThai is a low-key guesthouse, small rooms that are clean and airconditioned. Bathrooms are in a good state and beds are comfortable. Whilst smoking is not permitted, someone was smoking in a room near me at night and my room reeked of smoke. Restaurant downstairs serves good food and there are lots of other restaurants in the ares. Good for a short, budget stay.

Budget but well Located

- Very well located near the railway station. - Rooms have been renovated (not mattresses!) - Prices remain stable: OK! - No one speaks English...? - Not very nice, even NOT nice.!!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to lay your head in Phitsanulok, look no further. This three story guesthouse/hotel is located a short walk from the train station and down the street from the city’s famous night market. It is quiet and virtually every sight in Phitsanulok is within walking distance. Rooms are simple and clean. Only Thai is spoken here, but staff can communicate effectively. For 400bhat I had a room with a single bed, private bath/shower, hot water and air conditioning. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate and is served in their adjacent cafe. This is my third time staying here since 2012. Overall, a very good value. 

No Frills Professionally Run Guesthouse 

We had a room on the side of the street overlooking a very noisy bar the first night we informed the reception and we could change rooms right away, great the staff doesn't speak any English but we can handle it... advised

Well located, very price-friendly, spacious and very clean rooms

The hotel is centrally located, proper and clean accommodation, clean bathroom, and very well located.The breakfast is included and you are given a choice of 10 breakfast menus in the cafeteria below, quite well.The staff is very friendly and attentive.

LITHAI Guesthouse Phitsanulok, located in the city centre near the clock tower. Here is a guesthouse that deserves more than a stop. These are Thai friends that I've been introduced to. Good quality price ratio. Simple but clean room. Spacious shower room. Air conditioning, hot water, refrigerator and large bath towel. Free Wifi. Simple but more than proper lunch. Free parking. What more did I ask for the price? For fifteen euros a night, I'm more than satisfied. But the most of this hotelhouse, it's my restaurant, nice restaurant, nice agency and comfortable hotel, great kitchenette. I always enjoyed the excellent restaurant, great bananas, great food, delicious dishes, delicious food, delicious food, delicious food, delicious food and delicious food!

LITHAI Guesthouse Phitsanulok, a very good address!!!

This guesthouse is very conveniently located being just a few minutes’ walk from the river and within easy walking distance of the temples along the riverside. 

The rooms are all identically decorated in a white and brown colour and have been recently refurbished. The main difference is in size and location: the single rooms costing 300 Baht are smaller in size and look out onto the patio which in turn overlooks the access drive into the guesthouse car park; while the double and twin rooms costing 580 Baht are larger in size and overlook the outside, often the road which can be busy and noisy. The first couple of twin rooms I was taken to see also had the additional problem that above the room outside seemed to be home to a family of pigeons. The quietest twin rooms are even numbered ones ending between 10 and 18 which overlook some trees and buildings.

The twin rooms are very big and sparse with little furniture: just 2 wooden tabletops. There is a TV mounted on one of them with a fridge underneath containing 2 bottles of water whereas the other tabletop has a mirror mounted above it and a chair to sit on. There was a wide window in our room plus some red curtains. The floor is tiled in white as is the bathroom. The bathroom is very spacious with a good water heater, a good washbasin above which there is a mirror and a good toilet. Liquid soap, towels and toilet paper are provided.  The air conditioner worked very well and there is good wifi requiring proper log-in with both username and password which are valid for a period of 24 hours. You presumably have to ask for new log-in details every day. 
At street level, there is a coffee shop where food is also available and this is where a free breakfast is served which consists of typical Thai breakfast offerings such as various rice dishes. You can also have tea or coffee in the price. There is no Western-style breakfast on offer. There is quite a sizable free car park behind the guesthouse where you can park your vehicle as the street where the guesthouse is located can get quite busy. Next door to the guesthouse, there is also a restaurant called Veggie which is presumably vegetarian making salads, sandwiches and burgers, but no real meals to the best of our knowledge. 

The sleep quality was good at this guesthouse and I would highly recommend it to anyone requiring accommodation in Phitsanulok.

Conveniently-located guesthouse with clean and comfortable refurbished rooms

Nothing special but it suited my needs just fine....basic room close to night bazaar and train station, right in the middle of town provided good value for a 1 night stay. I would stay there again if I was passing through

cheap and convenient

Lithai Guest House is very suitably located but its upkeep of interiors & Rooms is not upto the mark . Rooms are also not cleaned properly, may be some renovation is going on . Non English speaking staff is a major problem in communication. There being no LIFTS , inconvenient for some.
    Restauarant is exceptionally well maintained with delicious bakery items & other multi cuisine items .
