We have stayed at the Marina Resort previously, two rooms - 1 x ocean view and 1 x jungle - and they were both outstanding in different ways.  

Everything about the Marina is fantastic, in particular the location, the gardens and most particularly the staff.

We have today booked another vacation there for 16 nights in May of 2025. The booking experience directly with the resort has been amongst the best of any of the hotels that we have stayed around the world (and we are frequent travellers).

The Marina's reservation representative, Suthima, has been outstanding. Her response has been immediate and her consideration of our requests has been detailed and understanding. We love their motto "welcome home" and we can highly recommend booking directly with the hotel for a great deal at an amazing resort. 

We have wonderful memories of this resort and can't wait to get back there.

Service is amazing, very clean rooms, highly recommend for first trip to phuket! Their star is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a good variety of options. Both restaurants have a good quality menu for lunch/dinner with lots to choose from.

Experience

Amazing place for relax. Stunning views, comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfasts and dinners in Red Chopsticks restaurant, friendly stuff 🥹❤️‍🔥 
Since now it’s my favourite hotel on this planet
And, of course, interesting flora and fauna 😅 tropical plants and, for sure, creatures… we’ve seen: squirrels, frogs, butterflies, giant beetles, cancer hermit, snakes (one came to visit us on the our room terrace, but brave hotel staff helped it to came back to forest😂), lizards, bets etc 🫶🏻
For all this people who giving minuses for this fauna… come on, don’t be a dumb! You are LITERALLY in jungles. If you don’t want to see tropical animals - go for vacation to stifling metropolis.

The best hotel😍

We come here not for the first time. And we dont even think to choose another place. The hotel with incredible territory, very homely comfort and just magnificent staff! Everyone, starting from the wonderful women at the reception and everyone who works in the restaurant are just great! There is only one very unpleasant and strange man working at the pool, but it is good that he is not there every day. 
    We can see how they carefully renovate the houses, constantly improving something. So, this hotel is just love 🤍

Perfect as always

Be careful, the hotel does not correspond to the description, photographs and reviews. The first problem is mosquitoes. They are everywhere. In the house, on the sidewalks, by the pool. That's just terrible. The second problem is that everything is very old. The third is food. The breakfast restaurant does not have air conditioning. The dinner restaurant is located on a busy street and is always crowded. The fourth problem is the beaches. In the picture of the hotel you see an empty Karon beach. In fact, there are a lot of people on it. I really love Thailand and Phuket. But this hotel was the worst thing that happened to me here. On some booking systems the hotel is in the 5 star category. Please don't deceive people. This is absurd. I'm very surprised by the positive feedback from other people. Perhaps they haven't been to really good hotels.

My worst experience in Thailand

Really nice resort complex. Beautiful, if not modern, room. Great buffet breakfast. Beautiful tropical vegetation. However pool too deep for my short wife to enjoy so we couldn't use it. Loads of people smoking marijuana round the pool and loads of non hotel guests walking off the beach to use the pool. Zero nightlife or socialising with other guests.

Some good and some bad.

A beautiful, intimate resort, surrounded by greenery and with direct access to the southern end of Karon beach. The staff is really friendly and efficient, their motto is "feel at home". The food is exquisite, the pool is a gem, the price/ quality ratio is great. Absolutely recommended.

Awesome place to relax yourself

What a fantastic hotel. The hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings conveniently situated between Kata and Karon, it is  really an idyllic hotel for holidays or special occasions.  The breakfast has a good variety of options. Both restaurants have a good quality menu for lunch/dinner with lots to choose from, the only difference is that On The Rocks restaurant has fantastic views of the beach and sea.  
Rooms are in villas, which makes for a peaceful stay with the decor and amenities being to a high spec.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly.  We couldn't have asked for more, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time .

Blissful hotel

Maria and I got married at this lovely hotel 23 years ago and return often
We recently visited from the U.K. for a week, and were delighted to see that they continue to deliver high quality and personable service, wonderful accommodation and a superb dining experience at their 3 restaurants
The beautiful grounds are set out as a lush tropical jungle, and offer a relaxed and peaceful haven from the busy world outside 
We really couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff and management who made our stay so good - this is a very special hotel, to visit time and again

Wonderful Marina Phuket Resort

This is the last day of a 9 night stay for us here at the Marina Phuket Resort and we have had an amazing experience. I can honestly say that it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are helpful, friendly and so polite and respectful (Thai people generally seem to be ❤️). Our room and the hotel grounds are kept lovely. I especially love all of the exotic and tropical plants everywhere in the hotel. Our room is cleaned well every day with fresh bottles of water (4 of them), fresh beach towels and towels and all things we have used are replenished (tea bags,bath crystals, bath gel etc). It feels more like a serviced apartment which is perfect for us as we like our own space. You do obviously have the support of the hotel reception if you need it and the one time we approached them they were so helpful. On arrival we were greeted by a member of hotel staff who sat us down with a welcome drink and explained everything about the hotel in a calm and easy to take in way - sometimes I feel so tired from travel I can't take it all in but I did this time. She even walked us to our room and explained everything - so helpful. I have had a tummy bug since arriving from Bangkok and Elephant Hills so I have spent more time in the room than I normally would and the sea view, beach view and all the lovely greenery visible from our balcony has made it a pleasurable experience. Complementary dinner or lunch each day at the hotel restaurant Red Chopstix but again because of my bug I wasn't able to benefit from this as not been eating much. We stayed in 203 and can see the sea from the lovely balcony and the beach through the exotic planting. Again, the nicest and most comfortable room I have ever had.
